Wayne, the owner, has given me the best fade haircut that I’ve had in decades and his price is considerably lower than any of his competitors. He’s very popular, so expect some wait time to be seen.

The owner Wayne is there 6 day’s a week. He is hands down the best barber in Fort Walton Beach, to my opinion. I tried them all. This is also the best place to get your haircut no matter what race you are. And it’s also a very respectful environment. Thank’s Rock City, Wayne and AJ!

This is the first barbershop I have been to in Fort Walton and the first black barbershop I have been to in years. I forgot how much fun it is just waiting to get your hair cut. My hair was a mess for so long and I left it that way, because I was scared of having a new barber in my hair. I don’t remember his name, but the owner gave me the best hair cut I have had in a long time. I loved my entire experience. My husband now wants to go get his hair cut there. They are very good.

Rock City has always made me look my best!! Been coming here for years. Wayne has made time for me and my family, whenever it was 6am on a Saturday morning or at 9pm on a Friday night before a wedding, he has always been available. Highly recommended!!!

Critical: QualityHenry could not perform a simple beard shape / trim. The majority of the lines were crooked. He did not follow my instructions / request whatsoever, in fact he cut away beard I specifically asked him not too. Save yourself the extreme disappointment and find another barber shop. Henry is incompetent as a barber.

Not returning. My barber, Greg gave me a very uneven cut. Then when I pointed it out to him he insisted he didn’t see it, and that I go home to put product in it, wait for it to curl then come back if I still saw the issue. I still saw it and even my sister pointed it out. I went back to show him the even more OBVIOUS mistake once my hair curled and to my disappointment he still acted as though he didn’t see it but told me to have a seat so he can fix it. I wouldn’t allow him to fix what he “couldn’t see” for fear I’d risk an even worse cut. I personally think he was more worried about his ego/not giving a refund vs listening to the valid concerns of an unhappy client. I posted pictures on their Facebook site. I will not return.
