I’ve been going here for 15 years and will not go anywhere else! I moved away from Downers Grove 10 years ago, and still drive back to Gianna to get my hair cut & done. She fills up quickly, so be sure to schedule way in advance. Cannot say enough great things about her! There are so many salons close to my home, but I choose to drive 40 minutes (without traffic) for Gianna.

Whether I bring in a million pictures for ideas for my hair, or just let her have free reign she always does an amazing job. Critical: QualityFirst, let me say, I have had many wonderful experiences at Rocco and Rocco over the years. The people are wonderful and up until now, I have not had a bad haircut or color.This past one was hellacious! Over time I think I have seen just about everyone there except Lisa, who I just saw. She gave me the worst haircut of my adult life. I have curly hair and it was straightened when I went in. She insisted on dry cutting. I asked if that was ok with my curly hair and she said yes. I have not had a dry cut since I was young and didn’t have curly hair.. Now when my hair is curly it is beyond huge. The layers are terrible. If I had not previously experienced this salon, I would never under any circumstances go back. I will never see Lisa again. I just received the most amazing hair cut by Kim. She’s AMAZING! She listens to what style you would like, gives you suggestions, and surpassed what I was hoping for. When Kim was styling my hair, she explained every step and how I could replicate the style at home. Thank you Kim for putting life back in my hair.

Been going to R&R for over a decade. Their prices are fair and I love my stylist. I get compliments on my color everywhere I go. They’ve been handling covid precautions in a comfortable and safe manner as well. Parking can be kind of a pita but that’s downtown Downers!
