Unfortunately, we will stop giving this establishment our business. My husband arrived this evening with our son for an appointment. Yes, they were late. The traffic on 40 at that time was bad. We have been late before but we have gone to Rob’s for atleast 2 years. Instead of offering to reschedule my son’s appointment. John was rude and unprofessional. Basically said that he wasn’t able to help them and he was booked for the evening. He had an attitude about it. Pointed out that they were late which they already knew. We have seen Soyeon and Anna who are wonderful. But after long time customers, we should not have been treated that way. If John had an appointment after ours, he could have offered to reschedule ours instead of turning business away with a bad attitude.

Don’t let the name “Barber Shop” confuse you, this shop is for women as well, and they are great. Anna has a fantastic color sense and works on both kids and adults. She trims my short pixie style flawlessly, and really pays attention to cowlicks and my hairs natural flow.

There is a reason I’ve been coming to Rob’s for the better part of 20 years…he and his team take their time to provide a quality haircut/hairstyle. My oldest son had his first haircut at Rob’s and now at 18 years old has referred his friends. You have many choices for a haircut in Ellicott City and Columbia, but if you want a proper haircut by friendly and professional barbers/stylists at a fair price, then Rob’s Barber Shop should be the place for your next haircut.

Friendly staff, talented professionals, and a laid back atmosphere make this the best barber shop in town. If you’re sick of the traditional barber shop filled with old men but don’t want to suffer the hack job that often comes with a visit to one of those “discount” chain barber shops, then Rob’s is the place for you! I’ve been going to Rob’s for over twenty years, and even though I live in Westminster now I still make the trip every few weeks.

Haesoon did a wonderful giving my 14 month old his very first haircut. She worked fast, but was calm and entertaining with my son to keep him from getting too upset (he wasn’t a fan of the sound of the electric razor). I loved that the barber shop also had a small kid’s corner with small chairs and toys to play with while they waited.
