In November of 2018 Dr Rome treated me for hair restoration. He explained to me, that he would see full results of my procedure within 10-12 months. Initially I felt as my results were very promising. After the hair grafts fell out I felt less confident in my results. Dr Rome assured me that it was completely expected for the hair grafts to fall out me but stated that he was confident that the new hair would be healthy & full in a proceeding months. To my disappointment, that was not the case. After over 2 years I have yet to see any benefits to the procedure that Dr Rome performed on me. I couldn’t be more disappointed in my results & I couldn’t be more upset spending $8,000.00 on the procedure.

I decided to have a hair transplant procedure because about 12 years ago I had had a transplant that did not work. I am not bald but have thinning hair which has bothered me for years. After that bad experience, I was very apprehensive until I read about the Robotic procedure. My last procedure was the strip method which besides not getting any results, left me with a horrible scar and also even all these years later I have pain in the back of my head at the site of the surgery. It is not horrible, but it is very sensitive and I am aware of the slight pain all the time. This is why I had never considered another transplant until I discovered the Robotic method. I did my research and found out there were only a handful of doctors in the Los Angeles area who did this surgery. I called and made appointments with 3 of them. There was a 4th doctor I called but he wanted to charge $150 for a consultation which I thought was ridiculous. The first doctor I went to tried to convince me to do the strip method again but then found out my scalp was too tight to get many grafts. He then wanted to do a tattoo which I told him no. The next suggestions was a manual transplant in which as they explained to me, the doctor takes the grafts one at a time. I became very confused because I had told them when I arrived I wanted the Robotic transplant. They finally agreed but when they told me the cost, I thought it was too expensive.

I had always been super insecure about my eyebrows. I played that never ending game of “permanent” makeup, eyebrow extensions, 20 min pencil/powder sessions……you name it I’ve tried it. After years and and years, I finally accepted it, the words that had haunted me since the 6th grade- I will never have my dream eyebrows. My brow pencil and I were in it forever. Then one day I was online searching just one last desperate time, maybe just maybe some brand new magical cure had come out, just to help me. To cure all of my pain and sorrow. Then about 2 minutes into my search, the clouds parted. This was it! The eyebrow gods had finally answered my prayers. The place was called The Robotic Hair Restoration Center, it wasn’t some trendy salon, it was the real thing! Dr. Rome is the master mind behind this magical place. He was so kind and understanding. He explained everything to me in detail. He was absolutely HONEST, no pushy sales games. After he explained everything to me, he just left it to me, to make MY OWN decision. Of course it took me 30 seconds to say YES! The entire process was so easy and painless. I had a comfy chair, great music, and after a few months I looked in the mirror, there was defiantly a tear I finally had the eyebrow of my dreams. Eyebrow restoration is usually done via the strip method where a chunk of your scalp is removed and stitched back together. I didn’t want to have that procedure which would leave a long scar. To my knowledge, Dr. Rome is the only one offering ARTAS Robotic Eyebrow restoration. I love my results.
