I just got my hair cut here yesterday. I absolutely loved my experience. It was a fantastic atmosphere, it was clean, the people were nice, and best of all I love my haircut. She was very thorough, and gave me fantastic advice about how to achieve a hairstyle I want for an upcoming event. I was very, very pleased.

Went to this salon after finding out my usual barber was closed. Nicole squeezed me in even though she had a busy day and did a fantastic job. She was very friendly and we had a great conversation. I will be returning.

AVOID. AVOID. AVOID. Ashley was sweet, the owner…not so much. Wanted a gold, single color coverage dye, recieved a 4 color botch job with horribly exposed roots throughout. Went back in today to have hair corrected. Ashley indicated she was willing to do this, owner was insisting on additional payment. Needless to say, after paying $140 for the initial, incorrect, coloring; we left without my hair being corrected, and nearly in tears by the owner’s brutish manner. He had the audacity to call us terrorists after expressing our desire to leave a review on social media. P.S. Since they do not advertise their prices on their website anymore, weirdly the prices seem to change through the coloring process and depending on who you speak with.

I seem to not be alone in my experience with the manager at Roberts Thomas in Plymouth. There’s a reason the manager’s previous staff left him for Stella Hair Boutique on Tenney Mountain Hwy. Was also quoted one price over the phone, and another in person. If you have a choice, make your way over to Stella’s, as they are much more personable.

Thomas Roberts is a well-run, professional salon right on Plymouth’s thriving Main Street (you can usually find free 30-minute parking right in front, or metered parking a few steps away). Owner Tom has cut my hair for years, and does a great job on all the small touches required to keep up appearances for a middle-aged guy. My kids also go to Thomas Roberts and have always been satisfied with their haircuts (and with being treated like adults through the process).
