One of the best highlighting jobs I have ever had – I live in Saratoga Springs during the summer and fall and California the other half of the year. Love this salon the atmosphere is always so inviting. Amy is amazing at what she does, she’s an absolute artist and puts 100% of her love into all of her work, it shows. She knows exactly how to work with thick coarse hair like mine and I never have had another hair stylist be able to do what she has done to my hair. Amy is a super talented hair stylists, I always leave my appointment feeling absolutely beautiful. I’m very particular about my bangs and she always cuts them perfectly. I have battled my curls for years and it wasn’t until I met Traci Edwards that I finally love my girls. Her dry cutting method and use of the right products has completely changed the texture and look of my hair. I first met Melissa in 2015 after a haircut gone wrong elsewhere. She was able to take an awful stacked bob that was literally choppy and a mess and transform it into an amazing stacked bob that I originally wanted. I have followed her through multiple moves before she found Robert James Salon that she now calls home. The atmosphere is elegant and welcoming! I have gone to Melissa for multiple needs from balayage to haircuts to having her do the hair for myself and my wedding party just last year! She is a dedicated stylist that takes her time to go through the steps of having a consultation with me each time I come in even though I’ve been to her time and time again. She always helps me find the best style for myself and never steers me wrong. She has great availability and amazing talent and skill! She always adds great dimension to color, balayage and highlights, and she cuts with precision and always adds amazing texture to each cut she’s given me. I used to be someone that would just go to the mall salon and get my hair cut on a whim, but never again since 2015! I never let anyone else touch my hair except Melissa!
