My hair is the happiest after visiting Emily Claire at Rob Peetom! Emily always listens to my concerns, goals, and always tells it like it is – if what I’m asking for is realistic or if it will degrade the health of my hair. She works wonders with colors and toners, and I always receive so many compliments after my visits. Many of my friends have started to come to her and the salon and all them continue to come back for the salon/stylist expertise, product knowledge, and overall experience. I always look forward to my appointments and always leave looking like a million bucks 🙂

I had such a wonderful experience at this salon. I originally heard about it from a friend who had a fantastic haircut and said she swears by this place. I needed a color and decided to blindly book an appointment with any available colorist. I was lucky enough to be scheduled with Nina and couldn’t have asked for a better result. She dedicated a lot of time to ask me what I wanted and was very transparent about what she planned on doing. I loved how she listened to me, but still have a very helpful and experienced POV on what would look best with my skin tone and features. I’m thrilled with my radiant hair and will make this my go-to place in NYC. Also, had THE BEST shampoo/massage that was worth the trip alone.

I only give 3 stars because the place looks great and one of the stylist that end up getting a haircut with that I didn’t went for was actually amazing . I don’t even want to get in details for the rest of my experience . I end up waiting hour and half to start the service and I showed up right on time for my appointment. I literally spent 5 hours in the salon and they didn’t even apologize. The place was empty . The colorist didn’t not listen to anything I told her , I been staring at my hair for the last 3 weeks and I hate it . I explained I want a base bump and that I want to stay around level 5/6 on the cool side . She made my roots bright orange . Then she didn’t even ask me if I want my glaze on the cool ,neutral or warm side . So I guess she just matched my ends to the bright orange roots . She didn’t even come back to check the end result . She went to join the salon meeting that was happening at the moment. Very unsatisfied for the 800$ I end up paying . Definitely not going back . And No I didn’t receive a blowdry !
