I’ve been getting my hair done at R&M for a while and have never been disappointed! My hair always looks great, and the staff is friendly and very professional. The place is also immaculate!!! Even though I have moved further away from the area, I still travel to New Hyde Park to have Marjela perform her magic on my hair. I’m always so blown away at her balayage and hair cut. I LOVE LOVE LOVE her and her talents. Plus, I love that this is a family run business with Marjela’s beautiful family.. mom and sister. Christina has done my makeup a few times and she makes me look and feel so pretty. The women at the salon are so nice and friendly. They keep their salon fun and clean. I always walk out with my hair looking amazing. They listen to exactly what you want and even go through my pins on Pinterest with me and listen to my crazy ideas. I always struggled with hairdressers giving me horrible haircuts that would ruin my curls, but I’m so happy I found R&M! Everyone is so nice and professional, they truly make me feel like family. They are such a clean salon, you will always see them cleaning making you feel safe. After Covid they follow all the guidelines, and even stretch out the appointments to maintain social distancing. I always struggled with hairdressers giving me horrible haircuts that would ruin my curls, but I’m so happy I found R&M! Everyone is so nice and professional, they truly make me feel like family. My whole family goes to this great hair salon! The cut my boys’ hair (ages 3 & 5), my husband’s hair, and my hair. The stylists are excellent and friendly, and all of our hair never looked better!
