Since then I have not been as happy with my hair. I recently decided it would be worth a trip (1.5 hours) to go back to Rivkah. Today was my appointment 🙂 The big difference is the time that Rivkah spends to consult about color (she actually shows you the color samples), your lifestyle, expectations from your hair and what kind of cut you are thinking about. I left her studio today feeling like a million dollars – new color that has depth and shine and a new cut that fits my facial structure and works well with my very straight and fine hair. Rivkah is super talented and a super listener. She really is a virtuoso and I highly recommend her! Several years ago I left Rivkah’s Studio because I moved out of the area and then tried several local stylists. Since then I have not been as happy with my hair. I recently decided it would be worth a trip (1.5 hours) to go back to Rivkah. Today was my appointment 🙂 The big difference is the time that Rivkah spends to consult about color (she actually shows you the color samples), your lifestyle, expectations from your hair and what kind of cut you are thinking about. I come in regularly for keratin treatments and have had a couple of different people do the service but each time it comes out perfect and usually lasts for almost two months which is longer than i’ve ever gotten it to last. She uses high quality products and her keratin treatments are the only ones that make my natural hair healthier than before. I’ve been coming to Rivkah’s for a few years now and i am never disappointed! I come in regularly for keratin treatments and have had a couple of different people do the service but each time it comes out perfect and usually lasts for almost two months which is longer than i’ve ever gotten it to last. She uses high quality products and her keratin treatments are the only ones that make my natural hair healthier than before. Rivkah spent lots of time with me discussing my hair style and color… She looked at pictures I sent. She gave me her thoughts on the best cut for me and we went with it. I wanted to get my haircut, but my usual stylist was unavailable… I searched through my phone and came across Rivkah’s. I called up, hoping to get an appointment last minute, and I did! When I arrived, I wasn’t sure what to expect. I was very afraid to stray away from my routine hairdresser. Let me say that I am so glad I did!! The staff was super friendly, warm and inviting. I felt extremely comfortable there, for I’ve been to other places where I haven’t . My stylist was Amber, and she was very sweet! So kind and helpful. We found a picture of what she recommended and she said that I would love my haircut. My hair didn’t have any layers, so she added a bunch in and lightened it up so it wasn’t so heavy. I absolutely loved my haircut and style from Amber! She was right! This was the first haircut I ever had that I liked and didn’t have to do anything to once I left to fix it. She used great products, too! I am going back to Rivkah’s from now on. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for stylists that know what they are doing and are very personable!

I went to Rivkah’s with a groupon for a cut, wash with deep conditioning and style. My stylist was Ayanna who was amazing. She was so kind and welcoming, made great conversation. She knew what she was doing and gained my trust instantly. She took her time and nothing felt rushed at all but I was still out of the salon in an hour which is amazing. My hair feels so healthy and although I got a blowout the curls actually lasted all night. I didn’t really need to style it at all for my NYE event and I got many compliments from everyone at my black tie event. Thank you guys so much! If I’m ever in the area I will be back!

Phenomenal experience with Rivkah last week. She is a true professional with immense talent. I sat in her chair for close to 30 minutes talking about my hair, face shape, styling expectations and looking through pinterest for ideas. I never felt rushed and was confident that Rivkah wanted to find the perfect cut for me. It took a little encouraging, but we decided to go from medium length thick, wavy hair to a modern, professional, and EASY pixie. HUGE transformation and I couldn’t be happier. I love it. My hair is difficult and there’s a lot of it. She spent close to an hour cutting and shaping. She would periodically stop and look to see what my hair was naturally doing and cut some more. I could tell she wanted me to love my hair and I do. This was my first Rivkah experience and I’m a new convert and believer! I don’t plan on gong anywhere else. And while the cut was pricey, it was worth every penny.
