When calling to make an appointment after many years of not needing a dermatologist, we were seen the same day, although it was with a physicians assistant. The PA we saw was very helpful and knowledgeable. She spoke directly with my daughter and took the time to listen to her concerns (since she is a teen) as well as mine and explain her condition, what could cause it, and what to expect in the future of managing this condition. Great experience, would highly recommend this facility. Very helpful front office staff also.

I feel mixed about this practice. They have been good about giving me appointments last minute. The first time I went I saw the PA Stephanie and she was very nice and helpful. The second time I saw Dr. Tivoli . Towards the end of the appointment I asked about getting refills for one of my prescriptions. She said she couldn’t see any prescriptions that I had on file and would need me to fill out a medical release form to see what I was being prescribed by past dermatologists. Also, she wanted to order a blood draw for me to do. First, none of the dermatologists I have been to before have required either of these extra steps just to treat acne so that seemed a bit odd, but I can accept that maybe she operates in a more cautious manner. However, it got bizarre when I mentioned I already had blood work done recently (that checked the same thing she wanted to check) so I logically figured I could just provide the results of that test to the doctor. The doctor seemed very annoyed at me for suggesting this and kept insisting that since it was the first time I saw her she needed a new test. Which doesn’t make any sense. Why would I go and have the same blood work done again for a medication I had been taking for years when I could simply provide the results of a recent test from quest? The doctor was inexplicably rude about it and it was very off putting.

Dr. Phi-Van Le is such a wonderful doctor!!! She makes the patient feel very welcome in her office, never rushes her exam and fully explains each part of her exam as she is doing it. I couldn’t ask for a nicer, more caring and professional doctor!!! I feel very lucky to have her as my dermatologist!!!
