They’re nice and all but their painless lasers are a rip off. I went for laser hair removal and saw the smallest amount of results such as shedding hair, but my hair was not thinning out or growing more sparse. I got a package of 6 and was almost finished with it so I asked and they said I’m suppose to keep getting more packages for results. I switched to a place that has painful lasers in a package of 9 and have 2 sessions left and I’m almost completely hairless. Basically, I wasted around $500 here on a laser that doesn’t work.

I’ve gone here for their laser hair removal. The staff is really professional and knows what they are doing with the machine. Their machine works well on me and other than getting a warm sensation and a couple of “twinges” per session, it’s not painful. And since you only have to go every other month or so and there’s no pain, it’s been worth it to me. It’s a clean and well organized place, even if compact. If you see a Groupon, maybe call and ask about the price in person first– they’ve been very fair. Owners are nice, too. Easy to get appointments last minute or well in advance.

Never got around to writing this, but Google suggested I do some reviews for places I’d been to. I went here 4 years ago so maybe things have changed, but maybe not. I bought a Groupon for this salon and was excited to get my first ever facial. I got to the shop and without even a polite greeting, the person at the desk asked for my Groupon paper. I never told them I was using a Groupon so it was a little weird to have someone be so abrupt and assuming. It’s an odd little shop with an upstairs so probably a converted house that wasn’t particularly relaxing in their choice of decorum. When it was my turn, the lady who did my facial wasn’t the nicest person ever. Every 5 minutes during the procedure, she tried to upsell me some additions to my facial. Being that this was my first facial, I wanted the basic package so I could see what I thought and then maybe add things for my next facial. Her asking me got so annoying and repetitive that it completely destroyed the relaxing experience for me. I made it very clear to her that I had acne-prone skin and she assured me that what she was putting on would be fine. This was a complete lie as over the next week, I developed the worst acne breakout I’d had in my entire life. Additionally, it was supposed to be an hour procedure and it was more like 40-45 minutes. I felt like I got ripped off due to the shortened time. I normally have no problem tipping service people who do a good job, but I really had to begrudge myself to tip this lady as I had a horrible experience that was not relaxing in the slightest. I should have posted this earlier, but life gets in the way, so I feel bad for other people who may have gone here and had a similar experience to what I had. I will never return and the whole thing turned me off from getting a facial elsewhere. Hire people who actually make customers relaxed and keep upselling to one time at the beginning.

Update! I just went in for a haircut with Nelia. Love her and my hair! I usually hate getting my thick, long wavy/curly hair cut because it’s hard to find someone convenient to my home that does a decent job. My search is over. I will be going back. Nelia is amazing.

I have very thick hair wavy light colored hair and both my daughters do also- we have a hard time finding salons that can cut our hair and not make it poof- they ALWAYS have done a great job with all three of us! I have also had my eyebrows done- tattoo fill in and dyed here and I was very happy! Salma has always been direct and honest in her advice and professional. hIGHLY recommend!
