Cheated! Went in for a haircut not a trim. Told her how I wanted it cut. She barely snipped the ends off then started drying it. Completely ignored my request. My hair looks no different from the time I went in. I didn’t have time to have her start all over. And I didn’t trust her to cut it right since she didn’t listen to me the first time. Big waste of $.

I have been going to Aveda salons for years, I search them out because I know whichever one I go to I can get met with consistent service and quality. I have become familiar with the process of Aveda from the Consultation to the scalp massage before the haircut, and the shampoo service at the end. Based on my previous experiences with the salons that carry the brand I expected a similar experience at Rituals. I am new to town so I gave them a try and I was underwhelmed from the moment I walked in the door. The Casual nature of the way I was greeted should have gave a clue as to what I was in for. I am not that particular when it comes to my hair. There are certain things that I know to look for when it comes to quality, but, also know I can usually style my way out of a mediocre haircut… This is not the case in this instance. I will have to wear a hat for the next 4 weeks before I am going to be able to manage a decent style from the cut that I received here. I am very unpleased and I would not trust this place to rectify the bad haircut I have on my head as I write this. This was not a good representation of what I have gotten use to at other Aveda salons.

I had my hair and makeup done at Rituals for my wedding. My stylist was Tiffany and she was absolutely fantastic. Seriously, I cannot say enough good things about her. She listened and gave me exactly what I wanted, even when I changed my mind a few times. There were also several times that I left decisions up to her and told her to do what she thought would look good and she made amazing choices each time and I absolutely loved what she did. I was only scheduled for one hair and makeup trial, and then the day-of, but she was able to squeeze me in when I got second thoughts about my makeup a week before the wedding, so I was able to get a second makeup trial. And, on top of all this, she was super friendly and awesome to talk to! I found the prices to be extremely reasonable and I absolutely loved the way I looked. One of the things I appreciated the most was when, on the day of my wedding, Tiffany was 100% devoted to making me look as beautiful as possible, but I ultimately felt unsure about my hairdo, so I very nervously went back to the salon to ask her if she could fix one part of it, and Tiffany said it was absolutely no problem, she didn’t feel insulted at all, and that it was an easy fix. Within 5 minutes I was back out the door and my hair was perfect. I really, really appreciated that, since I felt so bad for asking her to fix something after she had done such an amazing job, so the fact that she fixed it perfectly and wasn’t upset about it at all was really great. Thank you, Tiffany! I will definitely be back to Rituals Salon.

Critical: Quality, ValueFirst place I tried when I moved to Loveland and it was the worst experience ever. The person who did my hair seemed to be new but there was no real oversight of her work even though there were two other ladies chatting away nearby. I went for a cut and color. The cut was so jagged and uneven but the color was the worst part. She put the color in my hair and then went to the back to chat with the other ladies for the longest time. I could feel the dye dripping on my neck. When she finally washed it, the dye was not coming off my skin and I seriously had Elvis sideburns from the staining. The other ladies saw what happened so they then tried to rub this abrasive solution on my skin, pushing and scrubbing at my face with a rough towel. Didn’t help. I spent so much money for a terrible cut and stained skin that didn’t go away for days. Avoid this place!! I walked in with 40″ virgin hair and the stylist overbleached it HORRIBLY with a very obvious straight line above the streaks… I was obviously very upset, it was not even close to the color I asked for, and I asked for it to be corrected. The color was corrected OK, but still not the color I wanted, my hair is badly damaged (6+ years of growth) and I’m out $250. SO MAD.
