I spent the afternoon with Rita yesterday, and once again she did a fantastic job. I have very fine blonde hair that needs hair extensions so I can have the styles I want. I have had everything from strand by strand, sew in wefts, clip ins, tape ins, and even hair pieces. My conversations with Rita have always been to determine the style I wanted, and how best to achieve that. Rita has always been cautious, and looks for best options that won’t damage your hair. She takes her time, and truly wants happy clients. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. I love her work!

Rita is such an excellent stylist. I am a blonde and very particular about how I want my blonde to come out. The thing I like most about Rita is that she listened to exactly what I wanted, didn’t make any assumptions, and delivered on her promise. She only uses premium foils, and premium color (Shwartzkopf), and it really makes a difference. She is always so friendly and does a great job of keeping in touch. Genuinely a good person and a great stylist!

My experience was about 2 years ago, but the shop is the same as well as the stylist. I had very very short hair and I wanted extensions while my hair grew out. I did my research and called dozens of salons looking for a good stylist. I had a consultation with Rita and she convinced me that tape-ins were my best bet. I paid $800… just for my hair to fall out. The extensions completely destroyed my hair, and not because of the extensions themselves. She GLUED some of them in, despite them already having tape on them… She chopped away my real hair, desperately trying to make it look normal. She taped pieces on top of each other to the point where I had bald spots from the extensions ripping out my real hair. I spent all of my money on a bad hair job. I texted her about the tearing and she basically blamed me. She kept assuring me that she was a hair extension expert and then pretended I didn’t look insane when I left her salon. I had to wear a hat in the dead summer. I finally decided to remove the extensions myself. She kept telling me to come in and she would do it but I refused to let that woman touch my head again. I did it myself and ended up ruining the extensions. The extensions themselves were a couple hundred, and the rest of the $800 was her service fee and then tip (which she hinted at wanting). She became hostile when I texted her my concerns, and I wasn’t even asking for a refund. I’m writing this 2 years later, after having moved away and fixed my hair, because she wasted my time, money, and patience, and I just remembered that awful experience. Months later, my friends sent me pictures of me and my hair that she had posted on Craigslist, looking for clients. I never consented to that. I have beauty school friends that could’ve done a better job just by putting in the SLIGHTEST effort. She rushed through the whole process. did not have any quality to her work, and lied about her ability just to scam a customer. I hope this saves somebody from getting ripped off and ruining their hair!
