Critical: QualityThe ladies were really nice but my nails were very poor quality. I paid extra for the dip nails (a recommendation from them because they claimed dip nails last longer)… false. I got them done Friday night… they chipped Sunday. I left there with some residue on my fingers… the tech said it’ll wash off with soap and water… it did not… I went to a wedding with my nails looking like my 6 year old painted them.Like I said, very nice ladies… very poor quality. I have been using this nail salon for a couple of years and I am very pleased. I do not get anything fancy, only a #2 pedicure. Each lady does things a little differently which is nice for a little variety. I have found the overall quality to be just fine, the ladies are friendly, the shop is clean and I will continue to visit Rising Sun Nails & Spa.

My daughter took my youngest to get her nails done for her 9th birthday. She asked for them to do her toes as well and she wanted a set for herself. They did my 9yr nails and then told them they were done they are closing. My daughter left upset because they cut her fingers up. Not sure how they would do that if they were supposed to only paint the nails! Don’t understand why you would have accepted the appointment if you’re not going to do the job. Or close down the salon at random times. They left there and took their business to another salon that was gracious enough to fit them in without a appointment. The way these girls were treated and made to feel as a bother ontop of it all, we won’t be supporting this business anymore.

My mom and I had a 10 am appointment which was confirmed the day before for 2 mani and pedi’s. They never showed! We waited until 10:30 and decided to cut our losses and leave. We passed by the salon again 20 minutes later, still nobody at the salon. We got a call back at 11:15. We were hoping for just an explanation. We didn’t have time to go back, as we are heading out for a wedding this afternoon. A wedding we are in, hence why we needed the appointments. As my mom was explaining we couldn’t come back an employee was laughing obnoxiously in the background. It was very unprofessional and I wouldn’t waste your time going to their salon. Super unprofessional, not punctual, and rude. Go else where!

All the nail techs are very friendly. Hannah is awesome and my gel nails last 3 weeks. They’ve done my daughters nails and are great with children. I prefer this salon over their competitors across the street.
