I recently was taking my son to Floyd’s barbershop but they could never get the haircut style that I asked for my son even with the pictures that I showed them, I gave them three chances and strike three your out not going there period. so my wife found this place rise and shine in the website and told her let’s give it a try my son needed a haircut bad, we went even with no appointment the guy that greeted us was very nice and got us barber real quick it was Kenneth aka KCBLENDZZ I showed him a picture of the haircut style that I was asking for and he said no problem I got this and I told about Flyd’s disappointments, he said realy wow, awhile later I came back to check up on my son and wow is what I said to myself this guy was getting down on that haircut and gave us exactly what we were looking for just like in the picture no doubt I was very happy with his skills, from now on this is are place to go for our future haircuts thanks Kenneth and crew for being professional on what you do.

I’ve been coming to Rise and Grind since they opened up back in 2019 and they have only gotten better. All the barbers are exceptionally skilled. But my barber James leaves you looking like a whole different person (in the best possible way, obviously). You can’t go wrong with getting your haircut here. I’ve been going here maybe 6 months now and I drove about 25 minutes from downtown to Rise and Grind. First of all I always love the atmosphere in there. There’s a certain vibe the owner created in there with all the barbers that is unique, (at least from most of the shops I’ve been to) cordial and friendly. There’s an awesome ritual they have when a barber arrives they make the rounds and greet every barber. A little thing, they is larger when you think of it.

I was told about this shop from a buddy of mine and I gotta say never looked back. James is a magician with clippers probably the best barber i ever had hands down, every guy knows how hard it is too find a great barber and the atmosphere here is chill they have the sport’s playing and music with chill vibes what more could you ask for. Very clean and organized and the app they have for appointments is super easy to book. Overall all the guys here are chill and passionate about what they do and great barbers. Go check them out
