Honestly, if you go anywhere on this island other than Rise Above Ink you are making the wrong decision… Vayda gave me my first ever tattoo and it was perfectly aligned with how i wanted it to look. She took her time to perfect it, when i called out differences from what was wanted versus her sketch. Not a single thing i could have asked for differently in the end.!. Great artists, great atmosphere, time and money well spent. Thank you again Vayda. Shiloh and Horrace are also great artists too.!.

Amazing artists here! My husband and I vacationed in Kauai and knew we wanted to get tattoos during our visit. As we received our rental car, the guy who was assisting us had a beautiful rose tattoo on his hand. When my husband saw his tattoo, he knew we had to go wherever he went. He gave us Rise Above Ink business card and the next day we walked into make appointments. Shiloh was able to get us in within the week. Between my husband and I, he spent 8 hours on us! We gave him ideas and let him do his thing, with his style, and they turned out BEAUTIFUL! While we were getting our tattoos, the other artist, Sebastian, was tattooing another couple. Again, amazing work! (The eyeball & hibiscus below). The shop was professional, fun, and clean!! If you’re looking for friendly & talented artists, Shiloh & Sebastian are your guys! We appreciate you!

Hands down one of, if not the best experience! Artist(Shiloh) came in on his day off to pull a 13 hour day to make our vacation complete. 4 tattoos, 1 was virgin skin getting his first tattoo. Excellent work and probably the least painful tattoo I have ever gotten. Great place, chill atmosphere, and badass ink!

I had the privilege of getting a very LONG awaited piece done on my foot (YES it hurt like hell!!) that has such significant meaning!! It was a last minute decision while we were on vacation, but Shilo never hesitated in agreeing to make this wish come true!! He listened to my ideas and then put them all together to design a one of a kind masterpiece!! I am beyond thankful for his expertise and the welcoming feel of the shop as a whole!! Last day of vaca (Dec 17.19), my better half Andrea and I make this last minute pit stop before heading to the airport after making previous stops at other shops….either closed or needed an appoinent or whatnot. Sebastian, understood my idea and expanded it by making the island of Kauai special using characteristics of my personality, adding the hibiscus flower. The other tattoo artists are awesome people as is this shop. Thank you for your amazing talent Sebastian.
