Kat was superb with my hair cut. It’s been difficult to find a good salon with experienced stylists in San Antonio. I’m so glad I tried them, will definitely be going back for color! Kat was very patient and made sure I was comfortable since I was nervous yet again to try a new place for my cut. This place is a gem and very easy to find off the road. Can’t wait till my next appointment!

Awesome experience! I’m always so terrified of getting haircuts because I have had so many bad experiences. I think my stylist’s name was Erin? She had short red hair and she was so nice and my haircut came out great! Knows how to cut wavy hair properly, takes into account the lift when dry. I’ll probably be making this my regular hair salon. Great price too!

I was very skeptical about this place at first being it was a bargain rate type of haircut salon. But then I was told about Erin and how she cut his hair and he looked good. The first time I came to Rios Golden Cut Salons it was because I had a terrible experience at another salon. Determined to go home happy, I came here immediately after the first salon to get it fixed. I’m so glad I made that decision. The lady did a wonderful job. I walked out with the style I wanted initially, that I didn’t get from the first place, and she took extra time with me. I was so appreciative of the care she took with me in making sure I left happy. Now it’s my regular place. All 5 members of my family go here and they’ve never steered us wrong.

For the price, it’s not bad. The ladies definitely do a better job and are more accommodating than the male stylists that work here. I’m sorry I don’t know names, but there is a Thai woman who works here and she does excellent work for women and girls…and at a really good price. The deal with places like Rios is that they really depend on the stylists that work there. As I said, I would not recommend any of the male stylists. They are not as friendly, accommodating, or helpful and definitely not as skilled.

Went in to have my 2 kids hair cut. It was Monday around 12:30. There were 2 stylist working and one was doing a color. After waiting for almost 35 minutes the other stylist with strawberry blond hair decides to go to lunch. Like really!? So I’m supposed to sit there longer and wait until the other stylist is done doing his hair color? So rude! Never again that’s for damn sure!

I’ve never had a worse haircut in my life. I went here today hoping to get a decent haircut for the money but I was horribly mistaken. I left with uneven hair and cut 2 inches shorter than I asked. Don’t waste your time here. Spend the extra $6 and go to sport clips down the street. Chelsea fixed my hair tonight and turned my worst nightmare into a great haircut. I sure learned my lesson! Don’t waste your time and money on a half-a$$ haircut.

Erin is by far one of the best stylists there. She’s a perfectionist and wants you to walk away happy with your haircut. For those of you folks who have or are considering a flattop, she would be the one to ask for. Very few are trained to perform this style as apparently it isn’t the easiest to master. That and it is more time consuming than the average haircut. Highly recommend giving her a shot. She does it all.

Was scheduled with Erin. 1st son is completely uneven and was in tears for hours after (we did ask to cut the length off the top, thin b/c so thick, and showed her pictures of what we wanted). Excellent haircut every time i go there. John is a great stylist and listens to what you want before getting started and then delivers with an awesome cut. Always great service at a reasonable price. You wont be disappointed.
