I am honestly pretty disappointed. The owner who cut my hair was a wonderful, personable, friendly guy, but man, was he rushing through my haircut and I mean RUSHING. I gave him a super good tip because I could tell he was having a rough day. I showed him a picture of the cut I wanted and had before. The fade was good, but it was definitely not the best I’ve gotten at other Barbers. He didn’t ask how much I wanted off the top and just started chopping it all off. It’s way too short to even do what I asked for. My friend got a haircut there, too, and the other barber seemed to take time. Asked if it looked good, if he liked it. I didn’t feel the same way with the owner. I think I could have gotten the same cut at fantastic Sam’s for cheaper. All said and done, the barber shop is cool, cool people, and somewhat friendly workers. Don’t think I will ever be back for a haircut, though.

Had to be one of the worst cuts I’ve ever gotten, extremely rushed, with absolutely no precision. The length I asked for was off by at least an inch, my edge up was beyond uneven. The woman has no clue how to cut hair, and the price was very high for even a good cut.

I’ve known Carlos for years and it’s no secret he the top notch barber in town. I’ve also known Crystal who recently picked up a few days a week in his shop. She also works at a salon, that’s not in town. I was excited to learn she was now in town giving cuts. I called the shop one day to make sure Carlos was there to cut my son’s hair, but he was on vacation for the week. That’s when I found out Crystal was there working.

I’ve been to barber shops from stonington CT to Warwick RI and hands down rios is the best, after receiving an undesired outcome from another barber shop (literally just shaved the sides of my head) Willie was able to masterfully bring it back and make it look awesome after i thought my only option was shaving the rest of my head.
