These barbers are so professional and the only place my boys will get their haircut. My oldest has super curly hair and this has been the only place that has shaped his hair the way he likes it. I don’t mind a little bit of a wait because it’s always a good time there. Rick also paid for my dozen donuts one morning after hearing my little boy had been in the hospital. Great men, great business. Wish I could give more than a five star rating.

Really good barbers here but be prepared for long waits if you have no appointment. We waited once for over 3 hours! Also, you have to make same day appointments which is a nuisance. I found another barber due to the inflation of prices! Very expensive!

I walked into here completely on a whim because Corona had my eyebrows looking rough!! (4 months no threading). So I asked if they did eyebrows and was told yes. I sit down and wait until the current person is done. It’s pleasant inside. Just like any barber shop men, sports, news. But finally the moment comes and I sit down in the chair. He asks with his mask on if I want them to stay wide I said Yes and if possible I’d like them to stay long.” He says “ok”. Next thing I know a head rest is behind me and I feel like I’m on a roller coaster as the chair starts to lean back and lower till I’m at a 60 degree angle. I’m like “oh! OK” he laughs. I laugh (oh yeah I’m wearing a mask too). So he gets ready to begin starts his prep work in the back and I close my eyes. I’m super nervous because I keep imagining his hand slipping and cutting me or one eyebrow being shaved off on accident, but then God came down and was like “relax, he’s got this.” So I did exactly that. NEXT THING I KNOW…I feel something warm being out on my eyebrows and massaged in. Then I think some alcohol. Then I’m assuming shaving cream or some kind of foaming substance and by now I’m like, “ooohhh this is like a spa, I’m getting a facial just for my eyebrows!” Then I hear a grinding noise. I’m assuming he was sharpening the blade? Then it was just light, quick flicks from here on out. On the left side of my face…so then a gentle hands gracefully turn my head to the side and begin the same light flicks on the right side…which takes a little linger because my eyebrows are not created equal! He finishes and gracefully turns my head the other way again and checks the two eyebrows. I’m like boom we done! Moment of truth…WRONG! He continues to nip slice his way through them until he’s satisfied. I can feel him shaping the inner ends. So finally about 10 minutes later I’m done! He says take a look. I open my eyes to a mirror and someone staring back at me with 2, TWO PERFECT, COMPLETELY SYMMETRICAL, IDENTICAL TWIN LOOKING AS GOD INTENDED EYEBROWS. I was so floored I had to look in the big mirror on the wall. He says “well?” I’m like “how?” He laughs I’m like “their perfect!!!!” More surprise exclamations ensue. I go to get my card to pay him and he tells in a sad voice they don’t take cash I was like I’ll be right back! Run to my car and grab a twenty and tell him to keep the change (don’t ask me what the actual price is because I was so happy I didn’t even ask). I leave and cannot stop staring at my eyebrows in the rear view mirror. I stop the light at the intersection of Alison bonnet and Brooklane and I’m really examining them and they are perfect! I’m in such awe the car behind me had to politely beep his horn to let me know the light was green. Needless to say I’ll be back! The only thing is I didn’t get the mans name, but I’ll never forget the face of the eyebrow master at Righteous Cuts Hueytown! Thank you!
