I used to come to the shop always as a customer when it first opened 11 years ago when he first opened up in Garfield (Bergen County). I was his apprentice for the first summer back in 2009 (in my high-school days and I learned a lot from RICK & his partners. When I first started being around a group of men, they were always friendly and made me feel welcomed with open arms. After my local barber moved away, I struggled to find a new barber who would gave me the same quality haircut I was used to. I was hesitant at first, but after reading the other reviews and hearing good things about this place from friends, I decided on Rick’s. Setting up an appointment was easy, I just called Rick and he scheduled me for the next day. When I arrived I was greeted with respect and the shop’s friendly atmosphere. I told Rick what I wanted (a number 2 with a low fade), and in around 30 mins he was done. It came out perfect, and believe it or not, even better and quicker than my old barber! I was pleasantly surprised and will definitely continue coming here. I’m happy to call this place my new shop.
