Dr. Gross and her team are amazing. Dr. Gross is a true professional with incredible bedside manner. I had to have a mole excision and was incredibly nervous. She put me at ease and was so kind and compassionate. I cannot recommend her enough. Thank you, Dr. Gross for putting my mind (and anxiety) at ease and for a wonderful experience.

I visited two different dermatologists and no one could help me.. I had smashed my finger in a concrete table and my new fingernail grew really far into my skin. Extremely painful. i called this company and they booked my appointment the next day. I am so thankful for them!!! they burned a line down my nail then took it out what they needed to. They were quick and numbed my entire finger so i did not feel anything at all. highly recommend!!

An arrogant doctor with two young students or residents in tow entered my room and spoke so fast I didn’t have time to get any questions in. He seemed far more interested in entertaining his followers than he was with my concerns or fears. I showed him a spot on my nose about the size of a pinhead and anxiously told him I hoped I was over-reacting, but that it unlike anything I’d ever seen before and wouldn’t go away. “Nope!” he said, “You did the right thing. That’s most likely precancerous, and we can get rid of it right now for you.” Of course, I said I wanted it gone. He assured me the procedure wouldn’t leave a scar, but then proceeded to carve out a giant chunk of flesh around the tiny little mark. I even heard him say to his students, “That was probably too much, but at least we know it won’t come back,” and THEY ALL LAUGHED! I followed every post-op procedure to the letter, every day for more than 2 weeks, but I still have a giant crater in my nose now that looks like a massive pock mark. I’m not overly vain, but going from “No, it won’t leave a scar,” to something so big that everyone notices it all the time has really messed with my self-image a lot. Even if the scar was unavoidable, the doctor’s cavalier attitude and Steve Martin bedside manner was just unacceptable.

Sent a false amount to a collection agency and refused to verify the debt. When I called the office to get them to explain, I was hung up on. EXTREMELY unprofessional. Take your business elsewhere if you expect to be treated with respect and billed accurately!

Had an appointment here on august 5. I arrived 20 minutes before appointment (12:50) and waited 30 minutes following appointment time (1:10pm appointment, 1:40pm when I addressed to front desk). The front desk staff were making jokes and obnoxiously laughing about a patient from earlier that day the entire time I waited. One even said jokingly “we need to stop acting unprofessional” and continued laughing and carrying on. Another front desk staff was observed telling all the other front desk staff about a pt. who disclosed her broken collar bone during check-in. Following my interaction with the front desk about waiting 30 minutes past my appointment time, I heard the staff member share that I waited 20 minutes and that she was okay with that, but I didn’t look okay with that. Then comments were made about murder’s eyes. Very toxic and unsafe front desk staff. Wildly unprofessional. My visits with the Dermatologist was great with Dr. Wallace, he is very nice and knowledgeable, very personable.

I’m amazed but happy for all the folks who have given this practice a high rating. My assessment of the practice after one routine exam is: the practice runs an impersonal service that is more business than medical practice. Follow-up is non-existent. The office is difficult to communicate with. The business office is sloppy.

I saw Dr Wallace for a suspicious bump and a general skin scan. Him and his team were super friendly, professional, and thorough.

Zero stars. Zero Customer Service. My daughter was a patient, had an appt, they canceled the morning of, I re-scheduled, daughter arrived and I was called for verbal permission to treat as she is under 18. Daughter continued to wait, they called me back and said I needed to complete a consent to treat a minor, sign and scan and send back. Fine (even though she is a patient and has been seen), I immediately printed the consent form, scanned back in and right before I emailed, my daughter called stating that the receptionist told her they couldnt see her, the doctor needed to move on to other appointments. Very poor customer service, unfortunately my review will make no difference as derms are few and far between in Richmond.
