Rex and his nephew Tim has been amazing to me. I would really recommend going here. The inside has authentic sports photos and even has stadium seats.

Rex the owner is rude to other businesses in the area. He shouted at a cashier for requesting ID before selling him beer. He’s also not a great barber. Lawrence tends to have terrible people like Rex thrive off of being here too long, And people assume they’re OK because they’re an old business.

Always a great hair cut. Great atmosphere with tons of sports memorabilia and pictures. Better quality and cheaper than a great clips or similar chain. Everyone was wearing a mask and they visibly sanitized all their tools between customers. Rex is even great with kids cuts. I have been going with my dad as long as I can remember and wouldn’t have it any other way.

This is the second time I’ve been here, and I’m already hooked. It’s a great no-frills place for a quick quality haircut, and all of the services are reasonably priced to boot. The KU sports memorabilia on the walls adds a great touch, too. All of the barbers are kind and quick to strike up a conversation. Overall, I’m impressed, and I would highly recommend this place.

Rex and Tim are both excellent barbers. Finding a spot this far south on Mass St is pretty easy and they even have free meter change. The haircut is phenomenal and you can talk with them easily, or sit in quiet just as easily. I’m going to miss getting my haircut here once I graduate, I’ve been seeing Rex for 4 years. He always remembers what’s happening in my life as well. Great group of guys.
