It has recently been re-designed, and is absolutely gorgeous, not to mention, relaxing, serene and calm. Most importantly, the team there is wonderful-so polite, attentive, and caring-from Kara at reception, to Maria who is a stylist, to the owner Alicia. Alicia is a true artist, with impeccable taste, and a sincerity and focus that is rare. She pays careful attention to my specific hair type, and has given me the best haircuts I’ve ever had. Revolve is the best salon in the Hamptons!! It has recently been re-designed, and is absolutely gorgeous, not to mention, relaxing, serene and calm. Most importantly, the team there is wonderful-so polite, attentive, and caring-from Kara at reception, to Maria who is a stylist, to the owner Alicia. Alicia is one of those extremely rare stylists who considers the shape of your head, hair texture, etc before cutting and gives a remarkable cut. And not one of those “looks good when you walk out of the salon but fades as soon as you wash it” cuts, but continues to look good day-to-day between cuts. I have a thick, unruly mop of hair that sits on my head in a general mess. Alicia is one of those extremely rare stylists who considers the shape of your head, hair texture, etc before cutting and gives a remarkable cut. And not one of those “looks good when you walk out of the salon but fades as soon as you wash it” cuts, but continues to look good day-to-day between cuts. The entire staff is friendly, reliable, and down-to-earth.

Critical: Professionalism, Punctuality, QualityTo be clear–my haircut was not horrible, but it wasn’t good either, with Alicia. My hair is very thick and therefore has a lot of weight so I asked for it to be thinned out a bit to help take some of the heaviness. However it was not layered accordingly and more bluntly cut leaving a thick and heavy bottom, in the way of a straight line. It doesn’t look like an experienced professional did it. Also they have terrible time management and take way longer to complete the tasks than any salon I’ve ever been to. To be clear–my haircut was not horrible, but it wasn’t good either, with Alicia. My hair is very thick and therefore has a lot of weight so I asked for it to be thinned out a bit to help take some of the heaviness.
