Critical: ProfessionalismI took my boyfriend to get his hair permed here. We had heard prior to the appointment , when you get a perm you have to wait till theirs no more curls on your hair , or you just straight up cut it off.We arrive to the place and I explained the situation to the lady at the desk (didn’t want to get it yet if that was the case.) and she told me his hair would be fine . My boyfriend told me that he asked the stylist and she told him the same thing. 2 days later his hair is straight. I had a bad vibe the whole time. One of the other stylist was even giving dirty looks . I had seen all the amazing reviews and was so excited to go ! But after my experience I don’t think this place is all that and a bag of chips. Critical: Professionalism, QualityI’m not going to name names, because I know how much reviews matter and I think this was just genuinely a fluke. However, my hair is awkwardly and unevenly lightened and I have to go somewhere else to fix it. She also was really rough with me while brushing and parting and sprayed me in the face the whole time she washed my hair. It was so absurd that I laughed because my face was soaking wet.I can see that you know what you’re doing, but I hope you can set aside personal stressors when you’re working so closely with people and their body.Who I assume is the owner was around taking care of other people and she seemed very good and quite nice. So I can tell this was probably a one off thing. However, I’m now going to have to pay double because my stylist has been slow to respond to texts. However, my hair is awkwardly and unevenly lightened and I have to go somewhere else to fix it. Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueFor years I was using black box dye on my hair. Karen is amazing and has been able to lighten my hair to the desired blonde. Thus far I have had two session with Karen for a balayage. I am pleased with the results and plan to return in December. For years I was using black box dye on my hair. Karen is amazing and has been able to lighten my hair to the desired blonde. Thus far I have had two session with Karen for a balayage. I am pleased with the results and plan to return in December. Besides her amazing work, she fit me into her busy schedule due to a cancellation. Thank you Revive!

Critical: Cleanliness, QualityWhatever you do don’t show them a picture of what you want. You won’t get it. They look at it for a second and then go mix your color. If you explain that you want your hair trimmed up to your shoulder because you still need it to be long enough for a pony tail……you get it cut up to your chin. The color I got is fine. I went with basic intentions. This was my first time at this salon. My usual guy moved to Rio Rancho and it was just to far. But I will be making the hour long drive from now on. I’ve NEVER left a salon in tears. My hair is uneven and short. I even had to point out long pieces of hair to her that needed to be cut up to where she did the rest. Shannon seems nice but is way to new at hair to be charging over $100. Extremely disappointed.
