I did my research. I looked for the best place to get a balayage and I chose this place. I shouldn’t have. Just see the pictures for what I asked for vs what I got. The balayage does not blend. It’s just highlights that do not go all the way to my scalp. I wanted a bright blonde, I got this brassy noted blonde on top. I wanted it to be really bright at the ends, but my hair looks like all one color all over. I am upset for spending the kind of money I did. Oh and I didn’t mentioned this part. I had an appointment scheduled. I get there and they tell me oh, the receptionist screwed up and I can’t do it today. I took off work for it and they just apologized and did nothing. Got rescheduled and I wish I would have just taken the signs of the universe and not gone there. Thanks for ruining my vacation hair Revive Salon! I would have preferred to keep what I had.

If I could give this salon 0 stars I would. What happened here should have NEVER happened. Right from the jump extremely rude and unprofessional. The stylist Kayla texted me at 10:15 asking if I could come in at 11 when the appointment was scheduled for 10:30 because she “woke up late.”

Booked an appointment a couple months ago so i could have a day off of all 3 of my jobs. Got a call before i left work and they pushed my appointment back 30 minutes i say okay and move on. I get to the salon meet Kayla and she starts brushing my hair out to work on my hair and then tells me the price is gonna be $300 over the starting price for something that’s not extravagant . After she started mixing the the product she comes back out and tells me it’s not a good idea to do my hair and that i shouldn’t even waste my times sitting in her chair .

She is great to talk to and has such a fun personality. I just got my hair highlighted for the first time with her and it was a wonderful experience. The environment of the salon is so clean and pretty and smells phenomenal. It is a little bit on the expensive side but they are great with fitting in your budget and the end result is so worth it. I was surprised by this place, in a great way! I was calling around for a last minute haircut, and they squeezed me in that day. The whole experience was great — very welcoming, attentive, and not rushed at all. I was even offered a drink when I got there, a nice surprise! Ashley really listened to what I wanted, was very kind, and put a lot of attention into the haircut (rather than rushing through it like I’ve had at other places). I will definitely make this my go-to in Syracuse! Thank you!!
