Revival Nails and Spa

Critical: Quality, ValueI typically don’t write reviews because they take so much time and energy but I felt I absolutely had to write this review. Typically I go to a nail salon in Portland but with Christmas I had to choose somewhere else before going to Florida. I saw the great reviews for this salon and made an appointment…biggest mistake ever!! I had the dip nails which were WAY more expensive than any other salon I have gone to. My dip nails are always nearly indestructible for weeks which I love. Not these dip nails. The top clear coating starting bubbling and peeling off hours after my nails were done. I called the next morning to get a refund and was told a refund was not possible but I could get them redone for free. Why would I want to get them redone and have the same thing happen? I just wanted my money back so I could go to a different salon. She said she could give my 50% of the price I paid back or I could come back in and she would personally do my nails. Ok, great…so I can get 50% money back and terrible nails and then have a different salon fix what they did. Wow! Knowing I was getting on a plane at 5am for the first vacation in years the next morning I decided I had no other option. Either lose money and have hideous nails or go in and give another person a chance. So, I said I would come in and get them redone. When I came in she looked at my nails and said the UV light wasn’t working yesterday (a total lie…it was working just fine) and she re-did the dip manicure. Next morning on the flight to Florida…guess what? Same thing happened. I took pictures of the day after the 2nd dip and each day after for 4 days. My nails looksed absolutely horrible my entire vacation and I couldn’t even take the dip off so I had to just deal with it. I didn’t dare call this salon back because I knew I wouldn’t get anywhere. DO NOT go here!!! They do not stand by their business or they would’ve seen their mistake and given their client a full refund. I have 3 daughters and if they had stood by their product and offered a refund like any other company supplying a product or service I probably wouldn’t have gotten dip nails here but I would have gotten regular manis and pedis for my daughters in the future.
