First off I want to say that Ashley was awesome!! She did such a good job on my lashes! I loved them and was so excited to go back for a refill 2 days before my wedding! However, I got a call the day before saying that Ashley was sick and had to cancel her appointment with me (completely understand). I needed them done that day because of my wedding and the only person that was available was Alicia.

If you’d like to book an appointment well in advance and have then cancel on you 2.5 hours beforehand, then I guess you’re their ideal client. I’m not upset that my eyelash technician was sick – it happens . I’m irritated because they made no effort to accommodate me today or tomorrow with someone else. I’d planned to have lashes done before flying out to Miami Thursday evening, and instead of trying to move things around so I wasn’t high and dry, the receptionist said “nope, sorry.” I will never give them the opportunity to ruin my plans again.

Critical: Communication, ProfessionalismMonica literally no call, no showed my own appointment. The day prior she sent me confirmation info which I CONFIRMED that I was coming. I showed up 15 minutes before my appointment and she wasn’t there and never came. I waited for 20 minutes after to be blown off. Soo disappointed. No texts to apologize, nothing.

I got a Groupon for eyelash extensions. Alicia did them, did not do the style I asked for, and was rude. A week later they look bad – going in weird directions and all clumped together – even though I have maintained them the way Alicia said to. I have heard that Monica is better, but if you go here avoid Alicia.

If i could give zero stars, i would. Monica is the most unprofessional business owner i’ve ever met. my family has purchased gift cards from this business (thousands of dollars worth) & she fired her staff so we chose to follow the eyelash tech we originally went to and asked for refunds… which a month later have yet to receive with promises of getting money orders in the mail. i have gone into the shop multiple times with nothing but excuses and attitude.. she even went to the extent on texting me after the visits in the salon and THREATENED me saying she would call the cops if I step foot in her salon again. I have gone to this salon for years and was disgusted by the way she talks to her PAYING, loyal customers. TAKE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ELSEWHERE!

Little treasure close to Old Town. Cute building outside, upscale salon on the inside. The entire staff is professional and the lashes…ooooh the lashes!!!!! Monica does an amazing job….wouldn’t trust my eyes to anyone else!!!!
