My young men were apprehensive about trying a barbershop for the first time as opposed to a franchise haircut place, but I told them there’s a difference for the cuts they get. They’re sold now! Really cool atmosphere, very clean cuts that the boys were impressed with and can’t beat the price! We will definitely be back again!

I walked in and waited 15-20 minutes and got my cut done fast and precise! The gentleman that cut my hair was very knowledgeable and friendly! I would definitely recommend this place. Stopped in for the first time today about a half hour before closing time with a pretty rough looking head and face of hair. After John finished up with the customer he was helping, he welcomed me and we chatted as he got to work. The cut looked fantastic and the magic he worked on my beard made had me feeling like a new man. I will definitely be back (my hair grows slowly though so it’ll be a while)!

I really liked this place but the quality has completely left. I have tried to drop in for a cut during business hours 8 times in the last month, and it has either been empty or the door is locked and you can tell someone is hiding in the back. I perfer to spend my money at locally owned shops but this place makes the cheep national chains look good.

They are supposed to be open at 8:30 on Saturday. Waited with my son for a cut till 9:10 then left. There was still a sign on the door saying they would be back at 3:30??

So I’m afraid the stories of the bad reviews are true showed up at about 2:30pm on a tuesday. The sign on the door said out to lunch. A guy already outside said he’d been waiting since 2 for the barber to come back. He also told me this was the third day in a row that this situation had happened to him. He said he was going to wait for him to get back because he didn’t want to waste another trip coming back the day after. I waited with him until a little before 3 and still no sign of the guy. I decided to leave and find somewhere else. I went down to Scotts barber just south of there on Kipling. He got me in the chair very quickly and the cut wasn’t bad.

Similar to others recent experiences, my husband has had several instances where they’re “closed for lunch” during non-lunch hours or “out to run an errand” as well as having the person working very clearly hiding in the back. Today, my husband saw the open sign, dog in the shop, tv was on, and then as he was getting back in the car to drive home, he saw the guy working the shop sneak out the back. This happened well before their closing time.

Never usually write reviews, but this place definitely deserves it. Went in has a very cool feeling to the place very retro and sports related which is all I’d look for in a barber. On top of that I had a great cut (don’t remember his name) was very satisfied, and will be coming back. Loved the service, had great conversation and loved the little shop dog that’s there. Great business. Oh and on top of all that there’s no problem with not wearing a mask because that’s kinda stupid anyway considering your getting a haircut and masks cover behind your ears. thanks again!
