Scott is a miracle worker, and after five sessions, I am still adjusting to my new reality that I am able to do things without symptoms that I haven’t been able to do for over 20 years. I had to stop running in college due to a nerve entrapment issue in my right leg and nothing that I tried helped much. After running even a short distance, symptoms of tingling and numbness would always come back. Scott quickly found a couple of different areas of old scar tissue (which can become sticky) that were causing nerve entrapment and reduced circulation. After just a couple of massage sessions, I noticed a substantial improvement, and now I am able to go on long runs without any issues. I feel so fortunate that I found Scott. Thank you, Scott!

Positive: Communication, Professionalism, QualityEarly may I started running and I guess after years of decreased physical activity I freaked my body out. Sitting for work 4+ hours at a time with just bathroom and food breaks my back and hips tightened up so much I thought I had disc issues. Went to 12 sessions of Physical Therapy at Athletico the pain level went down from 7 to 2 and range of motion improved but just seemed to plateau. Had 3 sessions in the last month and Scott has been able to get me over the plateau. As a matter a fact, after the 1st session it was already a world of difference. I could have skipped the PT sessions and went straight to Scott since he also advises on the exercise needed to retrain/stretch/strengthen the problem area muscle without overwhelming you with a bunch of exercises. I had injured my back during weeks of travel for work across than country and was struggling to walk or sit up straight. Scott was referred to me by a coworker and, simply put, Scott is a miracle. During my session with him, Scott was able to loosen up my muscles and directed me to the true source of the issue (ended up being my thigh as the primary stressor rather than my lower back). By the end of my session with Scott, I was able to walk and bend my hips normally with barely noticeable discomfort. Furthermore, Scott’s calm and supportive persona made the experience physically and mentally comforting as he thoroughly explained everything he was doing, why he was doing it, and the short/long-term relief it would have (and in terms even I could understand). At the end of our session, Scott also took the time to show me exercises I could do on my own to continue the healing and strengthening process. I would highly recommend Scott and look forward to future sessions with him.

As a working mother who sits in meetings/in front of a laptop, runs errands and takes workout classes whenever there is time, I need a massage therapist who can effectively relieve my back pain and neck stiffness. Once I started going to Scott several years ago, I have not gone to another therapist. His therapeutic massage techniques target pain points and address issues that might or might not have originated from where the pain is. My stress is relieved and I am more relaxed when I regain flexibility and am pain free, not with scented candles and aromatherapy. He is a respectable business owner/professional who takes care of his clients. I am grateful for his flexible hours, including evening and weekend hours, so I don’t have to miss work or compromise the many things on my plate. I have recommended Scott to my family and friends and they have had the same results and positive experiences as I.
