Critical: QualityFirst poor review I have ever written on anyone….but you all need to know that when you go here, most of the folks are really nice! The quality of the products and services they offer is what you really are going there for, and you need to be most concerned with what I am telling you. I am not just a disgruntled client leaving a bad review, pls keep reading….just yesterday I received the procedure that is for acne scarring of my face to help minimize the scars appearances. The procedure went horribly wrong in that the “air” on the oxy______(something??) they injected was on too high and caused my eye and whole left side of my face to swell. The nurse laughed it off saying no worries that the swelling would subside in a matter of minutes. But not so…I could hardly see out of my left eye, despite putting ice on my face most of the way back to WY. And today, 20 hours later, it is not much better. I’, missing work today because it looks like I was beat up by someone and I have a black eye. My lymph nodes are swollen, can hardly talk, or see from my left eye. We all know that the adage is “No pain, no gain”, but this was not supposed to happen as this procedure was to be minimally invasive, (yes i signed a release saying I don’t hold them liable if something went wrong). In addition, this is not the first time I had trouble with the procedures they did on me….over a year ago I also had the laser treatment and the procedure left bad scarred on my face as it did not heal properly after doing everything they told me to do. It is supposed to take a while to heal and I expected some down time, but several months later my face looked worse than before. Instead of reimbursing my monies, which was no small amount, they offered free services to fix the damage. I accepted hoping for a good outcome. The further treatment did help, but they acted like they were doing me a BIG favor, and that I was taking advantage of their kindness in offering this to me!! At Christmas I purchased a package for further treatment (still not catching on and giving them the benefit of the dought) and they said I needed to pay a deposit on the discounted package. I did not knowing what would happen next….Covid happened, which made making apts down there difficult. They were closed down some of the time because of COVID, and the other part of the time I wasn’t supposed to go to Colorado from WY due to having to quarantine after traveling there. When I asked for a refund on the deposit they said “No”. That I was to lose the deposit if I didn’t use it. They were to keep my deposit until I questioned this and asked for more time in which to use it siting what I just explained. I was “graciously” offered a couple of months to use it, with the lady at the desk telling me that I had received thousands of dollars of treatment for free, so I shouldn’t expect the deposit back anyway. I questioned this and asked them to ask Dr. Howten, who did give me the couple of months to come in and use it first, before forfeiting it to them. Here I am now…..yesterday leaving with a swelled face and no real recourse but to give them this review. I sure can’t ask for my monies back, they were “SO KIND” to offer me more time before keeping my $183.00 dollar deposit! Where in healthcare or any other area are we made to feel like we are the problem, and they should be allowed to keep that kind of monies when things are so crazy with COVID and being out in public, if anything they should be more understanding!! Maybe I expect too much from others, to be honest, ethical, and help me; the customer. My opinion is DO NOT TAKE THE CHANCE with your health and beauty here, where the customer is expecting too much from the caregiver. If you have monies to throw away, and are willing to sign a release and take a chance on your health, go ahead and make and apt. I am done with them!First poor review I have ever written on anyone….but you all need to know that when you go here, most of the folks are really nice!
