I’m Vanessa, originally from New Jersey, raised in South Florida. I spent four amazing years of my life living in New Orleans. Today, I call Northern New Jersey my home. I’ve been a stylist since 2010. I specialize in brunettes, balayage, and color corrections. I take pride in continuing my education so that I can always utilize the latest techniques on my clients hair. I travel for advanced color classes at least three times a year. When you arrive at Resilient Salon you can park in front of salon on Maywood Ave or on Hunter Ave. **** PLEASE DO NOT PARK IN PARKING LOT BEHIND TO THE DENTIST OFFICE*** Also please no extra people to your appointment.. I thought long and hard about writing this … Long story short I have not worn my hair down in weeks because I am so unhappy! To say my result is anything more than a first year cosmetology students work is being nice… .To start the haircut is/ was terrible the right side is 2 inches longer than the left, my highlights/baliage same. Dropping $500 on this has left me angry for weeks.. The only reason I didn’t post earlier is because she mentioned during my service that it was rude for people to leave bad reviews for small business owners…I am doing this for the next person considering going to her… I know it’s only hair and it will grow but when you have the nerve to charge 500$ for a service with the result I received it needs to be reviewed… I have a hard time believing any business that is getting 5 stars these days and this business is exactly why.

I am absolutely in love with my hair! First of all, you feel absolutely welcomed when you walk in. There is complimentary goodies and an airy atmosphere. Vanessa and I spoke about what my goal color was and set a plan. With just one visit she was able to lift most of my leftover red without damaging my hair.
