I had an Ahhhmazing Facial experience with Gina. I picked her based on some previous reviews and she did not disappoint. I did a discovery facial and she advised me on what would be appropriate for my skin type. She was super nice, just so sweet and really excellent at what she does!! I’ve never felt so relaxed. She even included a hand and foot massage as a part of my facial! She took her time and really addressed my concerns and made me super comfortable! Well worth the money! Critical: Communication, Professionalism, Quality**LONG COMMENT ALERT**I have been a client of Renu day Spa for over two years now. I never thought I would give a 1 star to them as it is one of my favorite spa places until this Saturday (12/11/2021) and I also recommended this place to some of my friends . I usually go for massage services and this entire year I tried only hydra facial almost every month from Feb. my regular aestheticians were – Gina, Adriana, Elizabeth, Isabella (I’m sorry if I typed the names wrong). I always had best hydra facial experience with them until Oct 2021. I couldn’t go in Nov. 2 days back (in Dec), I had an appointment booked. As usual I have asked for my usual aestheticians. Lady on call, said none of them were available and only ‘Angela’ is available. I said I don’t want to go with new ones as I don’t want to take risk because I’m traveling internationally for an event. She said Angela usually does hydra facials and she is very good. I trusted her, which is my biggest mistake.On the service day, I clearly told Angela that I have a sensitive skin and asked her to put let pressure and be easy. BOOM!! After 2 hours of facial, I have literally bruises on my skin. Mostly around my cheek area and also entire face almost with small spots. I have had severe acne and hyper pigmentation last year and with help of my dermatologist I got it almost cleared. My face was clean without any single spot before the facial. Now my face is literally full of spots and the area around the left eye hurts when I touch it. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE ever till date and the worst part is I paid $285 for this experience. I’m even more disappointed because it happened in Renu, the place that I usually like and trust. I was almost traumatized yesterday and dint come out of my room, felt like my 1 year of effort all went in vain. I don’t know if I will ever go back to Renu now.I just want to say one thing to Angela, please be careful with other customers next time. Because for some clients, it is not just a regular facial, it could be a whole journey with their skin. Had a nice couples massage here. However, it didn’t exactly blow my mind. It’s a very busy nail salon also, so there’s a lot of noise right outside the door, so not exactly tranquil, picture a mall style massage. They don’t accept tips as part of your bill, so has to be cash or check. But they happily point you to the chase bank nearby. It was nice, but I probably wouldn’t come back.

It was not the worst experience however also was not the best. The facial was a $130 including tip and for that price I expected a more bougie experience. The lobby was also quite outdated and has a lot of stuff around so it’s not very relaxing to wait in. There was a arm and foot massage that accompanied the facial and she seemed to have been doing a better job on that than the actual facial. I was told that I had nothing to extract however when I got home all of the white heads were still in my chin and pretty visible. We get facials to feel rejuvenated and honestly I did not feel great after leaving. The quality just did not match the cost.
