The entire staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I visited a few different doctors before I made my final decision with Dr. Kim. The decision was easy. In my consultation I was Dr. Kim and his staff answered all of my questions in great detail and provided me different resources to do my own research. They were not pushy and didn’t treat you like another body coming in like some other places I visited. I was extremely happy with my results. Everything was very professional and sanitary and I felt safe through it all. I really enjoyed my experience and results with Dr. Kim. He listened to exactly what my goals were helped me achieve my natural goals. You can tell they are patient focused vs. sale focused like some of the places I had visited. I would strongly recommend Dr. Kim.

Very pleasant experience at Dr. Kim’s office. The staff was very friendly and Dr Kim was very knowledgeable on the procedures I was considering having done. His before and after pictures were amazing. I am not done having kids but when I am I will definitely be coming to him for my work.

I wanted liposuction for my son’s wedding which was 8 weeks away. I paid almost $8,000 for liposuction. Before the surgery i was told: he was board certified; i would definitely see results in 2 weeks; i was going to be very happy with the result; i would be awake but i wouldnt feel any pain; he was going to do my stomach, hips, back and waist. During the surgery i didnt feel anything when he did my back but when he did my stomach it was excruciating in certain areas… he didn’t shoot the pain killer in every area. After the surgery i was do swollen that i went up two dress sizes i was so swollen. I was in so much pain i couldnt do anything but lay in bed on pain killers. He gave me gabapentin and tramadol, which had SEVERE withdrawal symptoms. Now, almost a year later i am still heavier and there is NO physical difference in my appearance. Plus, i had 2 mini strokes four days after the surgery. Also they told me AFTER the procedure that it would take six months to see the results. I have had nerve damage since. The procedure was done in another location and its not a typical medical facility. Only the dr and one assistant were in the building. I felt like i was in s backroom to a shady organ removal place., not a sterile medical facility. Definitely not worth the pain, the money or the mental anguish. He also is not board certified for plastic surgery. I recommend going to a reputable place: northwestern hospital’s dr fine or his partner. They did my breast reconstruction and they look incredible.!

Love, love love Dr. Kim and his staff!! I have had my lips augmented, my tear troughs filled, my naso-labial folds and marionette lines filled as well. I also see Lynn the aesthetician for my chemical peel and microdermabrasions. The secretary – Laura – is always so happy – she makes RCL very warm and inviting. Jelena is just as fabulous! Thank you Dr. Kim for making me look 10 years younger!!!

I went to see Dr Kim at renaissance cosmetic laser for a consultation about a blepharoplasty or eye surgery,Dr Kim Suggested the use of artifl under the eyes .I stressed my concerns about scarring so i felt it was safer and more cost effective to go with surgery .but Dr Kim Insisted to me that artil was a better option although skeptical and at a higher price i had been convinced by Dr Kim …Dr Kim said to me that several syringes would be needed for each under eye area .again i stressed my concerns about scarring and asked Dr Kim to inject in a safer area along side the eyes instead of under the eyes ,again Dr Kim said not to worry .So We began administering the artilfil .as time went on i began to have heavy puffy lumps/or keyloids with dark red scarring that formed and became very noticeable.I made several complaints to Dr kim and his Response was oh well you signed a waiver .I was very offended .After that Dr Kim offered to try and reverse the scarring using steroid injections which he did and it became worse .I went to another doctor in Barrington il and was told that NOT ONLY IS ARTIFIL NOT FOR THE UNDER EYES BUT NEITHER IS A STEROID SAFE AND CAN CAUSE ATROPHY TO THE SKIN….I also called the manufacturer of artifil/bellafill .Company called Geneva medical and spoke to a representative by the name of Stacy and she concurred that artifil/bellafill is not safe for the under eye and not recommended by the manufacturer of artilfil/bellafill due to scarring.I feel like i was taken for my money and disregarded as a human being and now i have to live with permanent scars,I urge anyone who considers artil to reconsider .
