I didn’t want to dislike this experience, but definitely did. The woman who gave me my massage didn’t introduce herself, ask me my name, or any of that. She also remained completely silent during the massage and did not inform me of anything she was doing. I had specifically gone in because I have awful knots in my shoulders that I need worked on. I told her this, paid extra for deep tissue, and indicated firm pressure on my intake form. Not once did I feel the pressure was anything more than normal and she did no digging into my knots. I was incredibly disappointed, especially after being highly recommended to this business by a friend. I tried calling several times the next week to speak to a manager but the phone would ring and then go to a fax machine. I will not be returning or recommending this to others. Perhaps the other massage therapists are great, but my experience was enough to not want to even try another. A very unfortunate waste of 80 dollars.
