I first booked an appointment with Joan to merely treat myself and to start the new year on a positive note. Joan is warm and friendly, and offers such an inviting and relaxing massage experience. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that my massage with Joan had unexpected, long term benefits. Over six years ago, I was in a car accident that resulted in a compression fracture in my spine. Despite “healing” completely, I have had pain in my lower back ever since. Two days after a saw Joan, I realized I was no longer experiencing the pain that had plagued me for the past six years!
