Critical: ValueThis was a very BAD experience !I scheduled an appointment to have my 12 year old daughters hair done for a silk press . Once we can in we sat down because the hairstylist was doing a child’s head that had to be at least 5 or 6 years old . The child was crying LOUDLY as if she was in excruciating pain from getting her hair braided. We then were called to the counter to have our temperatures checked which came back fine . I was then told that their would be an additional $40.00 charge if my daughters hair was not combed out . I then ask how is this so ? Diane stated that it was on the site and that’s a whole different process when you have to comb the hair out . I was like okay , so I canceled the appointment . Mind you I made the appointment today and had to pay $65.00 up front just to schedule the appointment. I then heard her tell another customer to make sure that the little girls head she was doing was combed the next time she comes . Why was I ask to pay an additional $40.00 for my daughters head but the customer in front of me was told to make sure they do it the next time????That was NOT RIGHT!!!! And then you kept the other portion of my deposit …. I will NEVER go back to this salon …and I advise anyone DON’T GO !It’s not allowing me to respond to her comment so I will do it on here .She stated that it would be $40.00 not $10.00 . My daughters hair was not matted but It did needed to be combed out . I just didn’t feel it was FAIR that you combed the other clients hair out but made it an issue with my daughters hair ??? any other salon may have said … look we will do it this time but make sure her hair is ready for service the next time you comes ..you are a business owner and your customers come 1st . Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueI took my fiancé there today for a full sew-in. They had all the natural hair bundles and closure pieces in stock, and everything was fairly priced. We drove a long way to get this done, and it was worth it. It took quite a while to complete, but again, that too was worth it. The eldest sister that done this was very professional, very meticulous, and super nice to my fiancé. The box braid work the other ladies were doing for their other customers also looked super good. This is a family owned and operated business, and I recommend this place if you want what you pay for. Not sure what happened with the other reviewers that didn’t leave 5 stars, but from experience today, 5 stars is what it deserved.I took my fiancé there today for a full sew-in. I took my fiancé there today for a full sew-in. They had all the natural hair bundles and closure pieces in stock, and everything was fairly priced. We drove a long way to get this done, and it was worth it. It took quite a while to complete, but again, that too was worth it. The eldest sister that done this was very professional, very meticulous, and super nice to my fiancé. The box braid work the other ladies were doing for their other customers also looked super good. Critical: QualityJust wasn’t what I expected. Didn’t like how the process went and to be so overpriced if you were going to charge full price you should have knocked some off for not finishing the back. I went to another stylist to get the back finished and my dreads we’re hanging out of the box braids and I’ve had better stylist with great tucks. The girl at the other shop was appalled when I told her the front was done professionally for 300 plus dollars.Never again.Just wasn’t what I expected.
