After reading all of the reviews I was a little nervous about coming here, BUT I am actually VERY happy I decided to try it out. Jennifer and all of the staff members working on March 3rd were absolutely amazing! Everyone is so friendly and I could tell they really cared about making sure I had a good experience. I’ve tried expensive hair salons who were given 5 star ratings & i’d have to say Jennifer had WAY better results. Not only did my hair turn out amazing, but it was also a very good price! If you’re wanting highlights, I’d suggest Jennifer! 10/10 love her.

I repeatedly said leave my length. I showed two pictures of the style I wanted. My hair is now 6 inches shorter. I have natural curly hair. The style I wanted was to be left curly. It was blow dried straight. When I was turned around to see my hair I was in shock. I couldn’t even say anything. Paid and left in tears. This is the second time I went and same results. Shame on me for going back. Ugh. Do not recommend.

I used to love this place every time I went my hair came out better than I hoped the only downside was that they were pretty expensive but something has changed. the last time I had my hair done (a few months back) there was nobody in there (which should have been my first clue). it was more expensive than ever and the cut and color weren’t exactly what I wanted and the highlights don’t start at my roots their about an inch away from my roots so it looks like I already need to go back and get touched up.

I went in desperate as my hair was not liking the transition from a humid climate to dry and I was in need of help. Not being from the area I went in unknowingly. I told them right away that I needed someone who could help me figure out how to manage my hair. They gave me a stylist named Marie. She told me she has 30 years of hair experience and has worked in multiple Regis salons. She took me to the shampoo bowls and said we were going to wash my hair. She then put me under a dryer, saying she put a certain shampoo in my hair. Ok, fine. She then did conditioner and dryer again. I assumed this was standard washing here. During this time we spoke of how to manage my dry hair. She asked if I used a deep conditioning treatment, I said yes. She then said I was using it too much and that was what was drying my hair out. Again referring to her 30 years experience and how she knew things other stylist didn’t. So, Then we went to cut my hair. I had told her I had some breakage from the dryness but wanted to keep as much length as possible. My hair is very fine and I had (had) an a line cut. It was mostly the same length minus the back that was a tiny bit angled. We agreed to 1/2 inch taken off. Marie started to cut my hair. I asked her about soft bangs or a frame as the front part of my hair had the most breakage from the dry climate. She said she thought that would look good and she had been slow so I thought we were good to go. Well then she started to pull my hair up and work very fast. I wasn’t sure what was going on but thought she has 30 years of experience so who an I to judge. Plus I was turned away from the mirror for a great majority of it. She started to blow dry my hair and I almost started crying. I pulled it together and bit my lip because I honestly just didn’t know what to say or do. She had taken off 2-4 inches in different areas and chopped layers into my hair that had absolutely no business being there. I never asked for layers and the type of style I had prior to coming in did not work with layers. The bangs were not long or soft as we had discussed. Instead they start more than halfway back on my head and are very heavy and choppy, not a smooth line at all. More like a square, then another square, then another square. Then she took thinking shears to my hair…. My fine, thin hair. I about fell out of my chair but didn’t know what to do because I never have experienced anything like this before. She blew dry my hair… It looked terrible. I just bit my lip… Went to pay and was charged $65! $40 haircut and wash and a miscellaneous$25 hair cut charge. This apparently was for a conditioning treatment that I never asked for and was never told I was getting! I didn’t know that’s what it was til the next day when I called to complain to the manager. She had to look into it and call me back and said this was a conditioning treatment. Why was I given a conditioning treatment after being told deep conditioning was what got my hair to this condition in the first place?!?! So Jessica, the manager, has offered to fix my hair… But she can’t make it grow so we will have to see what she is going to do about it. I feel I need a refund, a “fix” for the uneven parts but even with both of those I’m left with a choppy messed up hairstyle that will likely take a year to grow out. I have cried many times upon looking in the mirror. This is the worst hair cut I’ve ever had in my life and I wish I could turn back time and never go into this salon. Stay away. Learn from me… And just go to a different salon.

I gave Regis a try last Friday inspite of all the negative reviews. I gave them a call same day and got in within 15 minutes which I am happy and a bit worried. Bahn did my hair, first she asked what style I like, I said keep the length and make my hair not looking flat then she asked, would you like deep conditioning which I opted out. I said just a cut. So she wash and massage my hair and felt really good. Afterwards, I went back to my seat and she start cutting. I like the outcome so In my mind oh $30 is good since I like it ( the most I spend with my hair twice a year ). I asked how much they charge to do style, you know like if you are going to a wedding or special occasion of some sort. Then that’s when she showed me the price. Different level of experience, different pay..the more experienced, expensive, like Bahn MASTER HAIRSTYLIST $45. I don’t mind paying that much as long as I am pleased with the end result.
