I always have a good experience at Regis. Olga does a great job with applying highlights to my curly hair. It was hard for me to be new in town and not have a stylist; so glad I found her at Regis. She is always personable and friendly. She goes out of her way to be helpful and adds energy to the place.

I do not recommend this place at all. I had a terrible experience here. I decided to get highlights one day and they looked terrible, they were so yellow and I asked the women/stylist if she could use a toner and she said that I would have to pay an extra $15 (that’s crazy considering my other hair stylist did it for free). The hair stylist blow dried my hair for about 2 minutes (my hair was still soaked). After that she threw the hair brush to me and told me to brush my own hair. She was very rude. Btw, I had to go home and spend money on a box of hair dye to fix my hair and I will NEVER come back here. Pretty sure they deleted my last review too.

Horrible experience…. I was a walk-in and there were 2 hairstylist left. None of which knew how to work the register so when I was getting my haircut Olga(haircutter assigned to me) left for about 10 mins at a time to help out the other worker to try and help out but went nowhere… she did that about 3-4 times and everytime she came back she asked how did you want your hair cut again? After my cut was done which would have literally taken 10 mins she said it was $30 and earlier they called out a hand cut was $15 in their system… I said yalls hand cut is $15 she pointed at a little sign on the counter and said she is a master stylist… where she pointed was the $40 dollar option of haircut, and a wash. She said I’ll give you discount $10 off… I said the haircut was supposed to be $15 like what it says in the system, she said no I master stylist… I would never go there again.

Went in at 5:10 on a Sunday and asked for a trim for my daughter. The girl that waited on us asked if she wanted a wash, a trim, and EVERYTHING?!” And then rudely added that they close at 6:00. I said “Just a wash and a couple of inches off. That’s all.” She said, “That’s going to be cutting it REALLY close… We close at 6.”. So we left. I guess they don’t want to work for that last hour. The girl at MasterCuts had another client that she was working on and STILL gladly waited on us, gave my daughter a great cut, and was super friendly. Go there instead.

I called way ahead and made an appointment and the lady on the phone told me she has a 3 o clock available. So I get there at 2:50 and they tell me it’s gonna be 20-30 minutes because they are running behind. I’m a little annoyed because I have somewhere to be but I work in customer service and get busy so I said ok that’s fine I’ll do some shopping. I come back 30 minutes later after walking around aimlessly. I expect them to call since I gave them my cell number but no call so I go back in there right at 3:30. I hang around the lobby waiting for anybody to greet me or address me and nothing. I look at the girl who is supposed to be doing my appt and she’s barely started straightening this clients long thick hair. So I leave and sit outside the store for FIFTEEN more minutes just waiting growing more and more impatient. I start walking around. Now it’s been one whole hour since my appt was supposed to be and I have not been contacted once. I’m leaving the mall now. I am not even upset about them being busy I’m upset because when I called this morning I could have been told that she did not have time for me and I would’ve been just fine and would have scheduled an appointment elsewhere. I was also never contacted that they were ready for me or that they were even running behind. I expect to be respected as a client when I make an appointment and even more so when I actually wait an hour past the time I was told they had available. Like I said I work in customer service and tip very well because of that but I will not recommend Regis st Matthews to anybody. Not based on their skill or product but based on their time management and customer service.

Don’t go for anything other than eyebrows. Why did it take an hour and a half to blow dry. My hair looks like a frizzy half attempted mess and I paid $50. Pretty extremely pissed off.

Employees could have been more inviting to new customers. Especially, when salon does not close until the Mall does.If you are a person of color with natural hair…I would suggest not going to this Regis.

I paid 25.00 for hair treat ment that didnt work my hair is more sticky then be for one of the stylist gave me there # I texted them a few time said I cut my hair due to how sticky it was the got rued with me will never go back I also whent in the salon to let them know that Sarah messed up my hair she cussed at me very unprofessional even the manager was extremely rude and unprofessional acted like they where both in high school I serouly would not give these ladies business!!!!!!!!!!!!
