If I could give them a NO star I would. I got an infection from being cut by the gal while having a pedicure. I yelped and told her she cut the nail too short and that I would probably get an ingrown toenail from that. She said “yes yes yes an ingrown toenail…I have to cut it down!”; then proceeded to “dig” into the side of the nail until she cut the toe.The work station was dirty, she did not apply a disinfectant immediately after she cut me. I have a swollen, red, hot infected big toe. It is red all around the nail bed, swollen and “angry”. I had to go into hospital a few days later for heart surgery and the surgical nurse said I had an infection and needed antibiotics, which I got from my PCP a week later as it was still infected. Even though I soaked it daily in hot water and Epsom salt, along with treating it with hydrogen peroxide and Neosporin antibiotic cream. My PCP tole me if the antibiotics don’t work they will have to remove the nail and that if that happens I should take the nail into the owner and show him/her! I cant even touch my toe on clothing when getting dressed it is SO sensitive. Throbs constantly. I have pictures that I wish I could post here. Then I got a “manicure” from another technician (and I use that term very loosely). My fingernails are not done that well either. She trimmed and filed them into squares that were ragged and torn.The sides of some of them aren’t covered totally with polish and the topcoat she used was cheap obviously since the polish started wearing off on day TWO. I agree with other reviewers who said that the employees talk talk talk (chatter really) to each other non-stop in their own language and don’t pay attention to what they are doing. I suggest STAYING away from this place. I can’t believe they are still open. They need to be reported to the health department.

Nails started loosening after 3 days. Ended up one came off before a week was up. By end of 1.5 weeks all were loose and basically catching on everything. Because I was out of state (for wedding, the reason I had my nails done) I couldn’t go back for a fix or do over.

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, ValueThe quality has bottomed out.The new owners are rude. 3 technicians and 2 customers and they tell everyone 3 hour wait.I ask for a specific design and they said they could do it, what I got was not even close.Nails used to last 3 months, every 2 week fills, now they last 3 weeks and start cracking and breaking off.They rush and have no quality or pride in the work they do.i have been coming here for years, 1 stop shop, I only have 1 day off from work. Critical: ProfessionalismI got a pedicure from this place a few times. I thought they did a good job. However, these past two visits, I felt like I experienced rude behavior from the staff. One week, I came in at 9:30 a.m. because I assumed they were open. I greeted the lady who opened the shop and asked if I could have a pedicure. She responded in a not so polite way, “We are not open. We open at 10:00, come back.” She sounded annoyed with me and I felt that I didn’t get a polite response, so I visited another shop. The next visit, I came in at about a quarter to 10. I didn’t see any customers, so I decided to look around at Walmart until 10 a.m. when I assumed they would be open for business. After browsing for 10 minutes, I returned, to see that there were two customers; one getting a manicure, and one getting a pedicure. The lady giving the manicure turned to me and said, “Can I help you?” I responded, “Can I get a pedicure?” She responded by saying, “We’re busy.” The gentlemen who was doing a pedicure asked me the same question, and replied that they were busy and to come back in an hour.”I feel that the people at Regal Nails could used some customer service training. They are not very pleasant and seemed put off by my request,.If they were busy, they could have replied by expressing some type of regret that they couldn’t help me at this time, and suggested when a good time would be. Critical: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Quality, ValueI went to get a manicure for my birthday.The employee’s were all extremely rude, impatient, short, aggressive, unprofessional and refused to listen to what my mother and I asked for and seemed to be set on what they thought we should do with our nails.I got the male ‘technician’ (I’m using that title loosely) and he was rude from the start, he brought over the colors for me to choose and I showed him the ones I picked (purple, blue, and a glitter coat). He gave me a judge mental look and said in a condescending tone “really? No no you don’t want those.”I corrected him and told him I wanted those colors.He then proceeded to write down only two of the color names I picked on the desk (no paper, he literally took a pencil and just wrote it on the desk) and forgot the glitter polish. When I asked him where the glitter polish was he ignored me and gave an annoyed sigh.The whole desk he used was completely unprofessional and unsanitary, it was so crowded with junk that I could barely put my hands down and it smelled awful. His hands were unclean as well, I could see dirt piled into the cracks of his palms.He started using the nail sander and was very aggressive with it and didn’t take his time. He was very rough with my hands, pulling on them too hard and yanking my arm to where he wanted it. I was rather afraid of him at the point and scared to speak up because he seemed angry. I just wanted to get up and leave as I felt like I was going to cry.He wasn’t careful with the nail shaper/sander and when sanding down the cuticle on my right thumb he went too far down and broke my skin a bit. I gasped and pulled my hand away in shock, he got angry and loudly told me to hold still and pulled my hand back.He was hitting my fingers if he felt they got in the way and just wasn’t communicating with me at all in what he wanted me to do with my hands and getting more agitated.He ‘cleaned’ under my nail with the lead end of the same pencil he used to write on the desk. It left a line under my nail. I was in disbelief at this point but didn’t say anything because I knew it wouldn’t do any good.After he started putting on the fake nail I noticed that he wasn’t shaping them at all or taking his time to fit the polish to my nail shape. He didn’t fit the polish evenly to my cuticles either and it looks god awful. On half of my fingers the nail polish is lumpy and uneven, and doesn’t even cover the edges of my nail. He left air holes in the polish as well so it looks like there’s dirt stuck in, or maybe it’s dirt from his hands I can’t tell anymore. The nails are shaped blocky and uneven and were filed down terribly inaccurately.When using the heat machine to dry the nail polish he kept smacking my arm or pulling it when he wanted me to take my hand out instead of just telling me it was time, or he would pull it away without telling me first and it would cause my nails to bump the top a bit.When I first put my hand in the machine burned my finger and I pulled them out a bit in shock, he got irritated with me and gave me a nasty look and told me to put them back in. I asked him if it was supposed to burn and he ignored me.My mom started getting her nails done a few minutes before me and somehow he finished mine before the lady who was doing my moms was done. Because he rushed it.By the end I was very disappointed, he forgot to put on the glitter even though I asked him three times and told me I was done.The nails looked awful, these nails looks like something I could’ve done at home when I was 12.I went over to my mom while he was still getting hers done and she noticed how upset I was and I told her how I felt about the whole experience and I just said the technician was rough with my hands and didn’t listen to what I asked for.Services: Nail art, Acrylic nails, Gel manicures, ManicureI went to get a manicure for my birthday.The employee’s were all extremely rude, impatient, short, aggressive, …More
