Very disappointed with Hui. I scheduled an appointment for 2:30, came in time to see that she sat someone else down. When I reminded her that i had an appointment she checked her notebook and realized that she messed up by sitting some other person instead of me. She asked if i could wait. Mind you she hasnt even started the manicure on the other lady. She expects me to wait an hour since thats how long it takes for the manicure when i had an appointment for that time. I left .Its so unprofessional. She could have asked that lady to wait since i showed up for my appointment in time . Will not be coming to this place. Be careful when you schedule an appointment, they might give that to someone else.

Critical: CleanlinessNormally I receive shockingly good quality and service from this place for it not being a fancy stand alone salon. However today I yelped in pain multiple times while the technician was doing my nails. I came in to get my set taken off to be redone and she only soaked one hand in acetone. The other one, she grabbed a plastic nail tip and removed the my old nails without soaking them. She missed the fake nail that she was trying to remove and got under my actual nail hurting me the first time. When I first had all the new nail tips on, she filed my pinky so hard that she caused my real nail to flip up and pull thus hurting me the second time. She hurt me the third time by really digging in with nail file around my cuticle. I tried not to think anything of it because I know these are things that happen when you get your nails done but I started to worry. When filing the surface of my nails with the rotary tool, she filed them down really thin and hurt me a few more times while using that tool. When she put the dip powder on, the shapes were pretty good but the thumbs looked a little weird but nothing absolutely awful so I stayed quiet. She filed the nails again once the dip powder was done drying and brushed off my hands, DROPPED THE BRUSH ON THE FLOOR, and started trying to brush my hands off some more but I recoiled and said out loud “Ma’am you dropped that brush on the floor…you dropped that brush on the floor” and she just ignored me (and my concern that that was obviously very unhygienic) , grabbed my hands and resumed what she was doing. After she finished painting my nails, she used THE NAILS ON HER HANDS to clean up paint from around my cuticles. After she was done, she rubbed oil on my hands and her hands felt SUPER gritty and not like she washed her hands in between appointments. An hour after I got home both of my thumbs and my left index finger became inflamed but I fixed it by soaking my fingers in saltwater.Service: ManicureNormally I receive shockingly good quality and service from this place for it not being a fancy stand alone salon. Critical: Cleanliness, Professionalism, QualityI am honestly not the type to bring race into an issue but the minute I walked in, they looked at me so weird. I told them what services I wanted and boss lady looked over at two other ladies and they both shook their heads not wanting to do my nails. She sent me to a guy who first of, didn’t say hello then didn’t have a mask on. I proceeded to show him what I wanted, he grabbed my phone took a closer and said I don’t know how to do a cheetah print. I said it doesn’t have to be identical just the design and he said I can leave cuz he cannot do it. In all honesty I appreciate that he was honest but the fact that you are not well trained with your job to do it right baffles me. They starting laughing at me as I walked out like wow. How great of a service. SMHServices: Manicure, PedicureI am honestly not the type to bring race into an issue but the minute I walked in, they looked at me so weird. If you want ugly, poor quality nails, poor customer service, unprofessionalism, and to be talked about in your face in a foreign language come to this shop. I have patroned this shop about 4 times and I ignored the red flags because when you frequent nail shops you unfortunately get accustomed to the attitudes that these nail technicians have. Today I walked in and asked for powder acrylic because shellac, dipping, etc does not stay on my nails no matter who does it, for the past 10 years I know this. The woman who asked me to wait as she filed her nails handed me a color pallet I selected my color and the tech that was to do my nails informed me the color might not be exact I said that was fine. Ten minutes into the nail service I see the powder is loose, runny and streaking I asked her would it look like that when it is finished because I did not like how it looked she explained she was brushing DIP powder on my nails instead of the powder acrylic I asked for. She said that dip is to be used for dipping nails (again not what I wanted or asked for) I told her I would like powder she said she could just color over the dip powder with shellac which I know for 10 years does NOT stay on my nails. I said no I would like powder she said she is not about to redo my nails because its not her fault the dip doesnt look right she said she told me the color wouldnt be exact. I explained to her it is not the color it is the dip powder that is streaked and patchy the woman sitting next to me agreed. I said the powder acrylic is meant to brush on while the dip she used is meant to be dipped on the nail as she knows, this is why it does not look right. She said she was not going to fix it its not her fault. I told her this was poor service and not good customer service It was not my fault I was given dip powder when I asked for powder acylic. I told her I was not going to pay for service I did not receive and that I was going to leave, she shrugged her shoulders. As I was getting up to leave she screamed “DONT STOP HER LET HER GO!” I am embarrassed and forced to walk around with horrible nails until I can find someone reliable to fix them. I will NEVER go back to this nail shop!! This explains the other reviews BEWARE of this shop.

Went here to get my artificial nails removed and a manicure. They took them off and soaked my nails in cold water for about 45 minutes. That was it. No filing, no buffing, nothing. I had to come home and do it myself. Will not be returning.
