Critical: QualityI received a full set at this place a couple of days ago. I’ve done acrylic nails by myself before and they’ve come out uneven, which is why I paid them to do it instead. The paint job she did looks awesome, but when I got home, I had to file the nails down myself. They ended up getting two other customers while I was there and basically rushed me out. The tips of the nails were very wide (they looked like the duck nails that were popular in the early 2000s.) The tops of a few of my nails are uneven, but I can’t file them down or it would ruin the paint. They look a lot better now that I’ve filed them down, but I’m disappointed that I paid $75 (with a tip) just to come home and basically finish half of the job myself. Two weeks ago I got my nails done here with black powder dip. The nails were too thin. Four broke within the past six days, and I came in each time for a repair. Today I am getting the fourth one replaced and the guy who originally did the set is being very abusive with my hand. He’s slapping me and slamming tools on the counter. We have not had any negative words between us. I have been quiet. I am not sure what is going on. One thing is for sure: I’m not returning for anything else here after today. They have not made me pay for the broken nails, even though I have offered to do so. I’m just stymied by the aggression and hostility towards me when I’ve been very kind this whole time.
