I came here because I needed to have a nail redone. I had problems with the place I went before. My nails were done only a 3 days before. I wasn’t happy so I decided to come here. I have never been so excited about my experience before. The gentleman that did my nails was awesome. He fixed the one but also fixed the issues with my others. My last experience with Regal Nails was, unfortunately, not a very good one. I was not given the choice of having any type of nail design, as when I showed what I wanted I was told “maybe next time” leaving me to just pick out a solid color (from a very limited selection, I think there may have been more choices but I was never offered). When shaping my nails, she asked if she could trim them a little and I said yes, assuming she meant just to make the nails even lengths, but she cut off all of my length on all of my nails (and as someone who’s nails break often, this was very upsetting as I’d worked hard to keep them long). The service itself was sometimes painful, especially when trimming the cuticles. They were cut too deep, scabbed over, and we’re sore for days after. By the end of it, my nails were bumpy and shaped poorly with odd pointy parts sticking out from the sides and not even my whole nail bed being covered on multiple nails, I ended up having to fix them myself the best I could at home with a nail file. I was pressured to leave a positive review, and the worker herself entered it in on my phone leaving 5 stars. Overall, extremely disappointing as I don’t get my nails done often so this was supposed to be a nice treat for myself, but I left wishing I’d never gone in the first place. I will say that the person I worked with did seem to maybe be new and unfamiliar with dip nails, as I have had more positive experiences in the past with other workers, but unfortunately after this I will not be returning. Everyone who works here is very nice, but to be honest I feel like it’s a little bit of a shot in the dark as for what you will leave with. If you do choose to get your nails done here, go in with low expectations.
