Critical: Professionalism, QualityMediocre nail service. The nail technician had shaking hands making it impossible to perform her job, which requires extreme precision. The nail polish residue I had in my nails prior to service was not cleaned or removed. The clear gel nail polish applied to my nails came in contact with the skin leaving the skin attached to the nails. I asked the nail technician to remove the gel nail polish but she was not able to. In addition, the nail cuticle was unevenly cut due to the nail technician’s shaking hands. I asked to speak to a manager and the owner. It turned out the nail technician doing my nails was the manager and owner. Luckly for me, my Citi credit card refunded my money after I reported your business. I will continue to spread the word around about the mediocre service I received to all my friends and family. Mediocre nail service. The nail technician had shaking hands making it impossible to perform her job, which requires extreme precision. The nail polish residue I had in my nails prior to service was not cleaned or removed. The clear gel nail polish applied to my nails came in contact with the skin leaving the skin attached to the nails. I asked the nail technician to remove the gel nail polish but she was not able to. In addition, the nail cuticle was unevenly cut due to the nail technician’s shaking hands. I asked to speak to a manager and the owner. Critical: Professionalism, ValueI arrived and informed the nail tech what I wanted which was a pedi with acrylic nails to extend the big toe nails. She gave the price and stated that the acrylic nails adds $10. She began the pedicure. Parts of the pedicure were very uncomfortable and slightly painful. When it was time for me to have the acrylic added, I was not given any of the salon slides I walked barefoot to another nail tech. My shoes were thrown on the floor two chairs away from where I was told to sit. The second tech ask if I wanted my nails really long.I stated no I just want a little extra length.When the second tech began adding the acrylic she started mentioning how nail tips were bad and would cause a fungus. She showed me her acrylic work and I did not see any change in the length. I unformed her that I wanted my nails a little longer. She got upset and started saying “you said you did not want long” “I have to add a nail and I told you you would get a fungus”. She continued by saying “okay you pay me $12 hurry up and give me you foot because we don’t have alot of time”. She continued mentioning how I said I did not want really long nails and how I will pay her $12 then began speaking in her native language. I asked if she could just overlay the acrylic to add a little more length she stated she could not and mention the $12 again. I have had many overlays on my feet to add length which makes me feel that she either did not know how or just did not want to do it that way. After she finished she informed me to go back to the lady that polished my nails and stated I pay her $12 a final time. I do not know why she felt the need to mention the price was $12 instead of the original $10 so many times but I never questioned why I just replied okay each time.
