I feel like I may have somewhat high expectations for nail salons, possibly because I rarely go and when I do it’s really to treat myself. But also I feel like I have been treated poorly at salons before, maybe because the technicians value their regulars more, which is somewhat understandable. But I came in 1 week before my due date, 9 months pregnant, and desperately needing some foot care. I asked for the V.I.P. pedicure and I was NOT disappointed. The salon was clean, the technician was attentive, and I really felt like she made the effort to give me a relaxing experience.

I got my nails done Monday Memorial Day and I had visited their Salon previously to this visit and got a complete set gel manicure which I noticed they still applied acrylic powder onto my nail bed. During this visit I went in and asked for a gel refill only. Waited 45 mins after signing in upon arriving in which the Guy working there told me it’ll be 30 min. I did some shopping in Walmart to pass the time of 30 mins. Returned to the Regal Salon just to wait another 30 mins. They were working on way too many people and were being greedy for customers but lying to customers about the service time to be expected. I get my turn and tell the nail tech that I wanted a gel refill and she moves forward to start my service she applied Acrylic on my nails again I never asked for. Once the gel polished was complete on top of the acrylic I told her I wanted gel that’s all. Anyway she finishes my nails and charged me $46.00 which I paid I felt that was a bit high. Today I called and asked how much for a gel refill and a guy told me $35.00. I will never go back to them. They are thieves.

We showed up at Regal Nails, Salon & Spa late on a Sunday. I needed my nails done before morning. They graciously allowed us to come in close to 5 on a Sunday. They worked til almost an hour after close. They never once rushed us or made us feel we were in the way. They did a beautiful pink/white ombre on my nails, and a gorgeous rose gold glitter on my toes. My daughter had amazing decorated nails. Designed with glitter and assorted matching colors. Again, these things took extra time, but they were so accommodating.

Before I showed up I called and made an appointment because I wanted something specific. I made it clear ( said exactly what I wanted and how I wanted it) over the phone and was assureds several times that they do “everything”. I passed up on my regular place because this one was more convenient if they could do what I needed. I get there and bam they don’t even know what I was taking about. Then had they nerve to try to upcharge service and offer extra services I didn’t ask for when I made the appointment. Not recommend if this isn’t your regular place. You can get better honest service elsewhere. As a matter of fact… The nail salon across the street in the shopping center 3d nails told me the truth when I called and asked them so props to them for that.

Critical: Professionalism, QualityI went yesterday to get my toe nails done I explained to the amateur and a lady worker that I did not want a pedicure and nothing else other than to get my toe nails done. I asked the manager to do my toes since the other lady’s never understand and go back and forth with you. He tells me to sit in the pedicure seat and tells me to place my feet in the hot water and I look at him and I just say whatever at this point because I explained I didn’t want nothing else done so I say maybe he just wants to wash my feet, after being in the water for a couple minutes he takes my feet out and dries them so I’m like ok good just a wash and he does my nails after he’s done he tells me to place them in the water again and starts scribing them with a soap and then rubs my legs with oil and then charges me 75 dollars for my toes. That is ridiculous.
