I went first thing. My daughter and I got our nails done for her homecoming. Hadn’t had mine done in a while. Very friendly. But when choosing something to get done. I found something I really liked and my daughter had a picture reference. Simple enough. According to the pictures on the site, it was something they could do. I chose something on the board on the front desk. Was told that they couldn’t do it, so I had to stick with something plain. My daughter wanted just a simple spider web nothing fancy, just something to go with her dress. Was told she couldn’t do it. It was a hundred dollars for both. Granted not expensive but don’t advertise something that you can’t do. Walked out daughter was very disappointed and unhappy. This is why we never get them done, we can never get what we ask for or see.

My nails started to fall off less than a week after being put on. All but 2 of my nails have come off before two weeks was up. today I complain to the manager and he told me that my nails being acrylic should only have lasted 2 weeks just like press on nails. I used to get my nails done acrylic and I could go 4 to 6 weeks without getting a fill and none of them falling off so I don’t understand. I even took my nails in to show that I had to keep regluing them back on.

They squeezed me in last minute. I believe there guys name was Alex that did my nails. I only did the shellac get polish but he did a great job ama took his time since my nails were so damaged from having acrylic.

My nail on my thumb broke in half and the rest of them started falling off. When I complaint to the owner, they basically acused me of breaking my own nails, not taking responsibility of the nail technician doing a horrible job. Just know I wouldn’t recommend you take a pet there to get any work done on their paws , let alone any of my friends. I went to the nail shop on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 and got a full set acrylic. Although my nails looked nice, it sure didn’t last. My nail on my thumb broke in half and the rest of them started falling off. When I complaint to the owner, they basically acused me of breaking my own nails, not taking responsibility of the nail technician doing a horrible job. Just know I wouldn’t recommend you take a pet there to get any work done on their paws , let alone any of my friends. Don’t go to Walmart Salon in Dover you would be disappointed.

If I had written this review in August, I would have posted it as 5 stars. Unfortunately, this is October. The location is small and tight and could be overlooked if the service was consistently good. I used the same nail care person for approximately 2 years. We chatted, got to know each other and were respectful of one another’s time. She was always on time and so was I. In August, while having my nails done I informed her that I was going on vacation and she informed me that she was too and that she would not make any appointments until she returned. That was fine with me because I wanted my nails to breathe. When I called to make an appointment, suddenly she was always booked. So I decided to go in on a Saturday when she didn’t take appointments. I was the first one there, even before her. When she arrived, she coldly told me that she now took Saturday appointments and she was booked all day and I had to see someone else. She suggested the owner. I didn’t like it, but I agreed. I had been her customer for almost 2 years and I tipped her nicely, especially at Christmas. The owner asked what I wanted I done, but if I knew all that she did for my nails I wouldn’t have needed her. She however, told him she had no idea what I needed. So, I got tips and gel and thankfully they turned out fine. I’ll probably have to get my nails done there one more time then onto the new Salon across the way.

I used to always go here I was going here for about 6 months . But a couple days ago I got my nails done mind you I already have my nails on and just was getting a refill and the lady asked did I want a cut down of course I did my nails were long. I asked her what was the price she said $25 which was fine cause it’s always $25 then when it was time to leave she said it was $35 because I got my nail cut down usually they ask do they want me cut them down be like that’s couple extra dollars she never said that so I thought that meant nothing. I would never return to that nail salon ever again

People don’t normally go to nail salons in Walmart but I highly recommend them! Their prices are good and I watched her take the tools out of a sanitary bag so unlike most places, you know the tools are clean!! They also have a wide variety of colors and I usually don’t have to wait very long. I won’t go back to any other salon because I’ve always gotten good service here! Definitely give them a go!
