They did such a great job to perm my hair. The lady is very friendly. She gives very enjoyable and relaxing hair wash. Sam is very skilled and fast. I showed a picture and he delivered more than what I expected! My hair looks natural and stylish without effort now.

Sorry to break the 5 star run. I had my hair cut at Refresh last Saturday and chose to go there by these ratings. When I arrived there was only 1 other client though but Saturdays in August can be slow because of vacations. Since I have short hair and only needed layers cut shorter it’s fairly straightforward . I tried to guide my stylist, I didn’t get his name, to cut sides shorter and my length too. I ended up with an unflattering haircut I can’t wait to cut again. The woman there waxed my eyebrows in a dark room in the back. She looked them over closely and tweezed a couple of hairs. Naturally when I got home I noticed they aren’t waxed clean at all but are half grown in looking. So maybe bad luck or both having a bad day. My advice is be very clear about your expectations. The prices are great!

First of all I felt safe with everyone masked up. Secondly, I was pampered today thanks to Mandy and Sam at Refresh Hair Studio. Mandy washed my hair with me comfortably lying down (a first for me) and with my collar protected well with plastic and a towel so it stayed dry. Then Sam took over and talked over what I was looking for. He was precise and careful and took time to ask about length, my preferences, my issues, etc. I am really pleased with my first visit and will return in a few weeks before my college reunion. The price is reasonable so I would definitely check out this salon.

All I can say is AMAZING!!! My daughter and I went today for the first time because the reviews were great, not one bad review did I see! We showed them pictures of what we wanted and got exactly that!! Definitely our new go to place! It was relaxing, no pressure into changing what we wanted and we were in and out! I was their customer for a long time in Philly China Town, but lost track of their whereabout during the pandemic. I am so glad that I find their new location by chance. Sam is very skilled. He is meticulous, artful and not rushed. I would highly recommend him.
