I was recommended this place a few times and even someone that worked there encouraged me to call and schedule. I’ve been really struggling to find someone who will cut my daughter’s hair as short as she likes and help her learn to take care of it. I really needed a place that treats her the same as a boy who wants his hair clipped short. I was told the staff that told me to schedule wouldn’t cut her hair because she didn’t cut ‘girls hair’ because she don’t specialize in ‘feminine cuts’ ….I’m not sure what is so different about clipping my daughters four inch long hair compared to a boys four inch long hair but I really hope this review can be taken in as constructive criticism so that another little girl doesn’t feel shamed walking in and wanting short hair. Hair is apart of our expression and it really sucks that Refined GM is so adamant on what they think ‘little girl’ hair and ‘feminine’ hair is.

Nice, clean, fun environment and Jade does an exceptional job. I’ve been going to the same hairdresser for several years now but she’s on maternity leave so she recommended I go to Refined. I can honestly said it’s the best haircut I’ve had in years.

Took myself and my toddler for his first hair cut. My haircut was amazing, really happy with it, and I liked that the stylist didn’t try to force product or styling on me. My toddler only got a couple of clips into his haircut before it was too much for him, but Linsey did give it a great attempt. She did get the two places I most wanted, so I was happy with the visit all around.
