I got an amazing beautiful cut from Veronica Yates at Redz. I went from below my waist to short hair. Veronica helped me select a cut that would suit my face and my desired care level. Veronica also helped me select the perfect color to hide my gray and look beautifully natural. As my hair recovered from the release of the weight, the cut got more and more perfect.

I got a terrible cut here! My bangs were cut uneven and too short, and thinned? I have fine thin hair! Why would anyone thin my hair! Horrible experience! Have to wait for it to grow back is the only option. I feel upset and very self conscious after having my hair cut here! Owner did offer to fix it, but how can she put back the hair that her stylist hacked off. Having anxiety and depression about my hair cut sucks.

Amazing salon. Tucked away in Soquel village, I had a great experience last week (9/27). All of the stylist have wonderful energy and the place has a great vibe. As a guy, it is often tough to get haircuts. The barbershop market in Santa Cruz is not on par with the likes of those you can find over the hill or in the bay area, yet Salon’s in Santa Cruz Co. seem to charge an arm and a leg for a ‘men’s cut’. I found the perfect medium at Redz. Emily was my barber and she did a fantastic job on my fade. Everything was lined up perfectly and she recommended great products for me based on my hair type. She was very informative, but yet was also willing to listen to my needs as well. The icing on the cake was it was all done for a price much less than some of the higher end salons. Highly recommend this salon!

my hair looks worse than when I came in :/ not worth $70+ $15 tip. my layers weren’t blended well and look choppy and awkward, my bangs were done quickly with no attention to detail, I have the sides of my head shaved and the “fade” that I got was just the same length all around, and it was messy.
