I went to Redcast Salon today for the first time, and I’m so glad I found Mary! She gave me a brand new cut and some beautiful highlights. I LOVE how my hair came out! I was really able to relax and enjoy some me-time at the salon. Mary was professional and very easy to talk with during my appointment. I especially loved that she took her time. I felt like she was completely focused on my hair and not juggling other clients. The cherry on top — she offers Saturday appointments!

I heard people singing praises to this place and to Mary so I scheduled and was optimistic about it and willing to pay 35$ for a haircut to get a good one and to have a good experience. I scheduled with Mary and she was nice until I asked her to make the layers more smooth. I was being pretty picky considering this was my second time trying to get a chopped up job fixed. She was visibly displeased that I was critiquing the cut and asking her to make improvements. She even rolled her eyes at other employees in front of me. I was extremely disappointed with her attitude and that I had to fight to get what I wanted when I was paying that much. In the end, I liked what she did with my hair (hence the 2 stars) but I had to fight for it. I will not be going back.

Josie is a miracle working! After 26 years of abuse to my hair, she made it manageable, easy to style and gave my hair life again! She is a color magician who brought out my best features through her color suggestions and cut! Redcast staff are always pleasant and quick to greet me. Never pressures me for something I don’t want but suggests things that would be beneficial to me.. and they have been right 100% of the time. Love this place! Suitable for all ages! I recommended my 25 year old neighbor to Josie and now Josie is the only one she allows to touch her hair.

When I first moved to Jacksonville 2 years ago, there were so many salons to choose from; I tried a few and they were too expensive and lacked the personal touch. EVERYTIME I get my hair done at Redcast, I absolutely LOVE the outcome. The stylists are experienced and help bring the style you’re looking for to life. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

Mary did my hair and it was absolutely amazing!!!! She teaches you how to do you hair so you can replicate the look. She take the time to tell you about different product to keep your hair healthy. I wouldn’t go to anyone else but her!!!!!

Being from a city type area I was very scared to get my hair done anywhere in Jacksonville. But I was in love with this place since my first visit! The owner is amazing and everyone is so nice, I refuse to get my hair done anywhere else I even prefer it over my favorite place back home. Go to Redcast Salon you won’t be disappointed!!!
