She’s the most friendly, caring, amazing stylist I’ve had the pleasure of meeting and coming back to for years. I have come to Red Strand for almost 8 years and after losing another stylist to a place further away, I was more than pleased to meet Kristen. The friendly, welcoming and competent atmosphere has kept me coming back over the years. Their recent remodel made it easier for me, as a mom, to bring my children with me when our schedules didn’t match up to come alone. Thank you SO MUCH, for creating the space for our kids, it is more appreciated than you will ever know! ❤️ I am so sad to move out of state, but recommend Kristen and the salon to EVERYONE. You won’t regret booking time with her or anyone in this salon. Miss you gals!

She was very gentle with my hair as I have extremely long, thick, and curly hair, which makes it hard to work with. Lauren was my stylist and she did an amazing job. I naturally have black hair and she was able to get my haur lifted to a blonde/light brown color and it looks beautiful. She was very gentle with my hair as I have extremely long, thick, and curly hair, which makes it hard to work with. The salon was very clean and they took many precautions to keep customers safe during covid. I highly recommend this salon and hair stylist Lauren. I will be back!

Service was excellent but it was $60 for a quick wash and simple trim. Before covid I used to pay $40 for cut, style, wash, blow dry and flat iron which took almost an hour. The simple trim took about 15 min. I really like them but can no longer afford these prices.

I’ve only been there once, but I liked what I saw–a friendly and comfortable neighborhood business that focuses on customer service w/o taking itself too seriously. Their booking and scheduling is done online, which I like quite a lot. Prices are variable depending on the stylist you choose. The more experienced they are, the more you pay. I went with a basic cut for $20, and it came out great. (I’m used to paying twice that.) I’ll be back, and if they’re consistent I’ll give ’em five stars.

This salon was very accommodating to a last minute wedding Bridal party that needed hair and makeup done for a Sunday wedding. The salon is not normally open on Sundays but after talking with the owner she made accommodations, 4 workers on hand, a small Sunday Fee but the salon was clean and private for the bridal party! Hot/Iced Coffee, Mimosas and pastries were waiting when we arrived. The cost for hair & makeup is very reasonable. Everything was great; the only suggestion would be to have the employees do refresher classes throughout the year to keep up with the current hair & makeup trends.

I have been looking for a “forever” salon and I have found it, thanks to a friend’s recommendation. I booked my deep condition and haircut with Staci. I loved that she actually took the time to listen and discuss what I was looking for. Staci cut about 8 inches off my long hair into a medium/long bob which I can wear straight and smooth or wavy. I’ve been here before with decent results. A few days ago I had my hair cut. I basically was laughed at over Christmas because of my hair cut. I guess I should have grabbed a mirror and looked at the back. Gouges all over and a bowl cut. Let two message that have gone un returned to get it fixed. Worst haircut!
